Watched the entire movie now and the utter lack of care from the entire group is absolutely vile. Pomni straight up doesn't care that she was ripped away from Jax while they were holding each other for comfort. We never see anyone else check on him. They just go about their lives having more fun than ever before because Jax is dead. Its fucked and sloppy writing and not satisfying at all. Why did we even learn ANYTHING about Jax this episode if he was just going to die?? AND WHAT IRREDEEMABLE THING DID HE DO?

He was a bit mean in a world where they are all effectively immortal, tormented by a god like entity and nothing matters. Is it obvious yet this was made by a sheltered upper middle class waste of space tranny yet?

With the exception of Pomni, N, Blitzo, ENA and the characters that existed before 2020, it is very possible that the other characters will be forgotten in the next decade.

The cat in the very center of the image is the protagonist of the comic series "Lackadaisy", which has been going on since 2006. Not sure what has happened in the past decade, but Lackadaisy in the least will continue with it's own small cult of fans.



The creator is a 46 years old white woman with a lot of skill in traditional art. Despite the comic having goofy cats as the characters, she can also draw human counterparts in the same intense level of detail and expression.



I was honestly under the impression that Lackadaisy would sooner have a live action television series sooner than any furry cartoon animation since her human drawings are more empathetic but maybe things didnt work out for her.

Ragatha's outfit is pretty normal, though moreso for someone slightly younger than her (college age vs realtor in her 30s). Gangle isnt too bad either, just looks like your average western muslim without the headscarf. The other 3 are kinda yikes tho, yeah.

This is driving me insane because its so out of character for her. From episode fucking one, she was built up to not let anyone slip away and then Jax approaches her after avoiding everyone and she just lets him walk off when she's seen through his shit EVERY OTHER TIME.

I have no clue who any of these people are but they look like stock image people rather than people that'd represent the characters which furthers my stance of this all being last minute or at least recent. Like god damn it this is now just reminding me of how the animated gridman "reboot/twist sequel" from years back did the thing where it was like "yeah all the characters are actually in a simulated pocket dimension they can't get out of" and then had a live actions egment at the end with "real" equivalents but the difference is instead of doing the "nothing matters ooo" shit it was specifically about how shit mattered and they did a clever thing where the main antagonist that trapped everything int he weird digital world shit looked like another character that only existed int he weird digital world to basically do a kinda hinting of them not fully hating themselves because that other character was their mandated "best friend".
Like it's one of those "if nothing matters why the fuck did you base them on your real appearance then" type of deals for lack of a better way of putting it. They don't even openly point it out in the dialogue IIRC too it's just a visual implication thing AFTER EVERYTHINGS OVER.
