SOMA overshadowed Amnesia because it's a more palatable pulp scifi horror story with no historical baggage, Gooseworx wouldn't copy Amnesia because he would have to do research on esoteric prussian scientists extracting "vitae" from victims (by drilling their heads, Josef Mengele talks about this) which would lead to reading about Vril and the Green Ray and so on, and like meatballs, it's a topic that a tranny can't get into.

Imagine being Frictional Games. You make a cool little horror game about a man solely learning the horrible truth that he's not even human, and the biggest impact on our culture it has is being as a name for a theory, related to a cartoon created by a troon, with a shitty ending.
