I cannot confirm that the leaked description is 100% real, but that tweet is definitely real (I checked it), and it implies they did leak it accidentally.

The description implies there is no escape, and they will either choose to live in a simulation they just broke by deleting Caine or commit mass suicide. If this is true, then the finale will most likely suck, in my opinion. Since we also know that many people working on it got emotional over the finale, mass suicide is the most likely outcome. :story:


I made this post when episode 7 came out. Well, I'm already laughing, and the finale didn't even come out. A fucking 41% ending by a tranny; the joke writes itself. :story:

The entire main cast ARE npcs. There are no pods. There aren't even complete brain scans, just basic obsolete neural scans. There is no escape for these characters beyond deleting themselves in the void. The end of the story will suggest that they were better off kissing Caine's ass into infinity because, hey, being used as entertainment is better than death.

This show always gave me this vibe that a company really wanted to make the next Undertale/Steven Universe and got some savvy sperg who actually knows what he was doing to make it.
I don't even dislike the show from what I've seen of it but it's hard to shake the feeling. Probably just a me thing.

I get the same feeling. The chink duo at glitch were somehow convinced by cooper that he could write on the same level as Harlan Ellison. How? I'm not sure. Maybe cooper just caught a few chinky loads in his boi pussy to get the job. Either way, now that the finale details have leaked it is obvious that cooper's writing skills are lukewarm at best.

To be fair the description was pretty vague and there may be more to it.
My personal theory for what will happen is either the group leaves, but it turns out it was a simulation inside a simulation (and so on) and they're back at square one, or Somehow Caine Returns and then a new cast of people enter the circus.
I just feel like it'll end on a sequel hook of some kind because Glitch isn't ready to give up their SpongeBob just yet.

If this show does not explain it's plot at all and really ends on "i guess we're stuck forever so maybe we give up or maybe we accept it idk lol" then this will another generational ending fumble.

Goose spent years shitting on theorists being wrong and telling people to wait, to pull a completely unironic "the real digital circus was the friends we made along the way (and the slurs we said 7 years ago)" would be insanity. At first people would call it sad and deep and cinema but then you realize so much was pointless.

It's not even the lack of answers, this show was not built for an "i've been isekaied and might never return home" existential dread type of ending. Characters only remember their past enough to theory bait but not enough to do anything proactive.

I cannot belive that suddendly they're all freaking out over not escaping when they didn't care for most of the show and when they did, they literally got over it on the next scene.

What if it also happens when queenie the literal chestnut queen comes on screen, which happens to be at the very start of the film, guaranteeing no one ever actually gets to see the ending of the film since the staff will be forced to stop the movie and kick everyone out 5 minutes in?

Concept for preventing spoilers from getting out in the 2 week period between the theatre release and the online one: they have 2 different endings, where one release ends with them becoming the godkings of their own digital universe, and the other ends with them fucking killing themselves
 
Future class action lawsuit from parents of ipad kids who killed themselves after being told the world is bleak by their favorite character/kin character/waifu then the characters all committing suicide.

I'm a bit late, but I really liked this video. It’s pretty much exactly how I see this whole drama, and I also don’t understand why these people try so hard to appease those rabid trannies who will gladly end you over the slightest mistake. There is no fucking way they are profitable enough for this to be worth it. Anyway, since he said he’s reading this thread, I'll just say it: good job my nega, you deserve more subs.

I mean that's not terribly surprising, it was already well circulated that the creator wanted to end a story where everyone just accepts a broken world and then just carries on.

It fits in with the whole Soma theory. Maybe they will decide to die, but one has to stay behind to hold the door to mimic the source material. I mean it might be dissatisfying for people wanting a happy ending or an upbeat closure at least where they took the positive lessons they learned and applied it when returning to the real world, but it seems like a valid enough way to end a retelling of "I Have No Mouth, but I Must Scream."

Nothing that truly comes out of left field, and will probably make the children in the theaters sad.

Still kind of think Toy Story 3 should have ended with them all going into the incinerator together.
