There's a theory going around that Caine isn't actually dead and episode 9 with end with him reveal that it was all an adventure to show everyone they're better off with him.

I don't want this to be true because that would be real fucking gay to ruin the impact of Caines death and it would make me believe Goose is taking waaaaay to much inspration from the Happy Place music video.

It wouldn't even make sense since he had a private mental breakdown, the biggest reach I can think of is he was doing that to "get in character" but that'd be retarded.

A private meltdown that Bubble caused, might I add.
>You really were the lesser of the two
If this foreshadowing Bubble having a big role in the final episode then jfc, what a narcissist move on that troons part to have the character xe voices be the most important character in the lore.

Plus they already did that twist with the last one. People just want the story to have a shitty pointless ending and I have no idea why. Maybe they think it's "mature"

This is the shit people make fun of shows like steven universe and she-ra, but here it's only excused by the fact that it actually didn't matter.
Those at least had the excuse of being kids shows designed to teach kids about nonviolent solutions. This is a show supposedly aimed at older audiences.
Super lazy comparison but the reason Zuko redemption was good was cause everyone called him out and he had to earn it. I don't want Jax's ""development/redemption"" to simply be him crying until everyone hugs him and he realizes he doesn't have to be a jerk anymore.
Another good example is Impmon from Digimon Tamers. He knew what he did was unforgivable, and he doesn't expect forgiveness. He only wants to help because it's the right thing to do.
When zooble said "I had dreams" and started crying I was on the floor fucking laughing. WHAT DREAMS NIGGA??? You barely have a personality, and now you expect me to believe you have hopes and ambitions?
That line would have made a lot more sense if Gangle was the one to say it, because we know what her dreams are.

Because he was right, and the idea that there really is no way to escape is starting to take hold with the rest of the cast.
Him being right doesn't justify him trying to fuck over everyone and them accepting that he did is quite literally insane.

Like someone else said, if you and someone else were in a Saw trap and told that the only way to get out was for one of you to kill the other with the loaded gun provided. You and the guy you're stuck with chat for a bit, you say that you think the whole thing is fake. Time goes by, you get hungry, you're still trapped and now it's looking like hey, this might actually be real so you have your gay little freakout, rush the gun and pull the trigger, only for it to not go off because it wasn't loaded.

You don't get to go "well see, I KNEW it wasn't loaded the whole time." And then be surprised when dude you're trapped with begins to beat the shit out of you because you tried to kill him.

People are hung up on Jax pushing the button, but can we also talk about how no one cares that Kinger finally admitted he built the hell prison trapping everyone? Kinger is directly responsible for the lobomotization of everyone who has or will abstract, including his own wife, and the show and characters just don't care. I thought zooble would at least snipe at him about it a bit. Its like the show doesn't even realize the implications of what it set up.

I think the theory is because Goose tweeted 4 days ago that episode 9 script made everyone cry and Caine's voice actor tweeted that he cried too, implying that Caine comes back but no idea if it's in flashback form or some form. If i had to guess, Caine is going to have an out of nowhere "father son" bonding with kinger before one sacrifices or something.

I believe goose and other VA's said the last episode made them cry too (i think kovach did more than once), lets hope they're not overhyping :optimistic: and it sticks the land.

He's stuck in there for much longer than them and went insane so it's hard to get mad now, but you're right, it's crazy that no one is more interested in this.

This show has the exact same problem late rwby had where characters just sit and wait for stuff to happen until in the second to last episode where it's too late and we need to get shit done. No one has any curiosity or desire to learn, they only do the bare minimum to move the plot or create drama when necessary. Out of nowhere the only intelligent person in the room has to explain just a bit of the plot (enough to answer 1 question and create 4), and the only thing they ask is "ok then, what do i do now?".

Even pomni's plan was stretching. Yeah she knows darkness makes kinger sane but she had no reason to be so confident he would know how to deal with Caine. She doesn't even ask if Kinger fine or why he's like this and have the topic swerve to caine, it was straight to asking about caine.

Even the bucket thing is funny to think about (lets ignore the plot convenience of this random bucket inside a diner) because Kinger had the bucket in episode 2 but only when pomni wasn't around so she shouldn't instantly associate it.

I checked the backlog of the thread and not one not ONE FUCKING MENTION of the shit with evil kinger's intro just being the ERBoH Adolf hitler intro.I saw it coming a fucking mile away too when the character intro font things started going too lmao.

I found people DID notice and edit it into he scene though so that's cool.

Kinger is actually the Dr. Nimdok expy confirmed.

Saw this video posted on YouTube and wasn't sure where to talk about it here. Do we care, are Kittensneeze/JakeNeutron/LongestSoloEver le heckin evil now? Personally I'm too exhausted and I don't want to have to feel bad for enjoying their content.

>Character is defined by trauma over losing friends, blames himself and avoids exposing his real self again
>Character nightmare involves old friends turning against him and literally exposing his ugly inner self
>The most retarded person ever: "This is transgender allegory actually"

I almost feel sorry gooseworks ya know. Being transgender writer and having both the boldness and company trust to create a transgender character who represents their own gender disphoria (Zooble), only for your fandom not give a single fuck about them and be obcessed with the popular angsty male lead (jax) being trans.
Tbf, being laughed at is the natural reaction to someone coming out as trans. Followed by revulsion when they actually follow it up

It'll go either:
* They work to bring Caine/some earlier version back
* Jax turns evil and manifests bs/antagonizes others
* Turns out kinger/pomni/bubble is another ai and it all returns to normal

I'm enjoying all these theories and predictions cuz we all know they're better than what we're gonna get.

I think we need to come up with some absolutely RIDICULOUS endings.

What if they all decide to abstract willingly. The whole episode is an therapy talk session where they confess their deepest insecurities and say their goodbyes. Every character abstracts and then credits roll. After credits scene shows new circus members appearing setting up for new merch (sales gauge which character is the MC) and leaving the door open for a season 2.

It's perfect cuz it's like Haibane Renmei or Angel Beats only instead of letting the story end in an ambiguous way, it continues on with no answers when it promised them, pissing everyone off and generating even more fanfiction and AUs.

HIRE ME, GLITCH.
