okay, maybe saying "in one scene" is an exaggeration but that still doesn't invalidate the fact that Zooble has gotten over her main issues in such unusually short time when you consider she's probably been feeling this way since the moment she joined the Circus.

We only have 2 episodes left. The only way the story can conclude is that either they stay in the circus, which means nothing ever happens, or they do escape, which would require MD-tier pacing. Of course literally anyone who isn't a child or a shipper is pessimistic about it. Seeing how TADC is more than happy to waste our time, I'm currently all in for the finale being a giant nothingburger.

These are not the biggest numbers, but they can change. MD already had a few episodes out before it suddenly exploded in popularity.

I keep hearing this, but I don't quite get why. Quirky "adorkable" female lead with daddy issues + characters referencing obviously still unwritten lore they're gonna drip feed you for years + a plot designed to go nowhere fast. The pilot literally has a gay angel ogling a zombie's dick, so its already more pozzed than all of TADC put together.

I'm holding out hope that they manage to pull it in a good direction almost purely because the artstyle looks cool. The creator said in an interview that he's aware of the pacing issues the pilot had and that the subsequent episodes hopefully won't be so all over the place.

I've heard it's on purpose to encourage people to make theories and draw engagement. I get it's working, but it's a bad story device. All it's gonna do is 7 eps of filler and the first rp/last ep.

It's gonna make the show less rewatchable and people 50y from now will have a hard time enjoying the show.

I'm quite surprised the way the story is heading... The horror is not external (ie they're in an afterlife, trapped in a machine or copies of their personalities) but internal (Kaine is messing with their personalities and has the power to make them go mad I hope it doesn't go the direction I hope it goes the conflict gets resolved, Kayne can make them go mad... The show continues season 2 as they try to escape, the show does like From where more characters and conflicts get introduced...

There's a rumor that next episode will be a flashback episode.

If they are right, expect more lore bait but no plot progress whatsoever. By definition flashbacks explain things but the the characters don't move forward.

It would make sense as they have been baiting about Ribbit for a while now. They are not "short of time", they are stalling and betting all their chips on the ending being “shocking”

If they're really going to do a flashback episode in EP8, EP9 will have to have to be End of Evangelion-tier and make Murder Drones look like Anna Karenina in comparison. It would all make more sense if they were planning 12 or 14 episodes with the whole "CAINE lies and can mess with their heads but it's a direct ticket into cyberpsychosis abstraction" being the midpoint and everything sliding to shit afterwards.
