Oh yeah, you actually reminded me of something that I need to get really

about:
So for a while now, YouTube has been recommending me those "TADC Analog Horror" videos, they're kinda cool, but they aren't anything special, it's just the usual "what if thing... but
E V I L"
There's one aspect that I really like about them however: they do a good job with the 80's CGI artstyle, you know, the choppy framerates and uncanny models, the good stuff when Toy Story didn't exist yet.
Which then reminds me of something... The Amazing Digital Cirucs, the entire setting, is supposed to be like a early 90's virtual reality game, right?
I tend to forget this detail a lot, and it sometimes makes me feel like a dumb idiot, since a lot of the scenes do reference early CGI (specially some of the paintings you find inside the circus tent)
... But sometimes, I kinda feel confused when I get to see scenes like these
You see those textures? Those bushes and trees? The lightning? Ain't no way those things are 2D images making an illusion of 3D models like the early days of gaming, it's all something you'd seen in a modern software. There's similar stuff happening in other scenes like the outside of Spudsy and inside the Manor to name a few, and there's also some props who are too high-detailed compared to the others. Boy I sure hope somebody got fired for that blunder.
Now, did anything that I said matter at all? Nah, but I find it funny how you can easily just forget that "oh yeah, TADC is supposed to be like a program made for Windows 95 or something like that."
This is not even a nitpick or a pet peeve, it's just something that I tend to notice from time to time. It makes me wonder if this is a good thing since it's not "in your face" about it, if it's bad thing because I keep forgetting about it, or if I'm just too stupid to not get every possible 90's reference the show throws at me. Does anyone else feel something similar, or is it just me?
It also makes me wonder if the main cast sees what we see, or if their POV is like 12 FPS.
