I was expecting some AI generated janky shit, why is this thrashy brainrot garbo surprisingly well animated and fast paced?? The fact that only the k-pop characters are moving in slower frame rate while everyone is smooth is hilarious.

What a sad state for animation when you have skill but have to do brainrot content farms for a living.
 
To be fair, I'm honestly surprised this hasn't devolved into a narcissistic mess, considering people like Goosework seem only capable of self-inserting themselves and their politics.

However, I'm not giving him any medals until this is over.I think he's mentioned people indirectly wrangling him, noting that someone has pushed him to do rewrites for the next episode. It seems like someone must be steering him toward merch-friendly plots and characters.

Still, I expect some controversial change starting with the next episode, as he's hinted, along with the obligatory "epic twist" typical of millennial shows.

Personally, I hate Gooseworx pretending to be a woman and I hope he jumps in a woodchipper for that alone.

I enjoy consuming modern animation/media from LGBTQIAP+ creators because I have a meta theory. I think they are using their respective projects to profess to their queer audience that they are "good people." As if the content of their character cannot stand on its own--they have to jump through these hoops and create a whole production to prove it. Most of their work revolves around things like "accepting yourself," pushing traditional boundaries, and just being a nuisance. They don't write heroes, they write fools.

I wager most people here are capable of discerning insincerity. There's always something off about media made by people in this "progressive" social movement. For Gooseworx it's 1) Zooble, 2) the unnecessary therapy talks between characters, and most of all 3) the bait-and-switch cutesy visual design made to appeal to children. I feel like people give too much benefit of the doubt in that the creators of Hazbin Hotel, Owl House, TADC, etc. are JUST manchildren. They are actively attempting to predate children and traumatize/groom them with infantilized artwork that will fly under the radar with overworked, sleep-deprived parents.

I don't watch TADC or other things like it because I LIKE their creators and only enjoy their work as insular pieces of art. I like the spectacle surrounding them. I like to think about their purpose in the current zeitgeist and I like to wonder about their relevance in the next 10-20 years.

How dare you, I'll have you know I misgender and deadname at every oppurtunity! Besides, the main glitch productions thread is for shitting on the production crew. This is just the runoff for people who actually want to talk about this one show.

dude i think you're overreacting, not every leftist has an agenda to push, the guy is just a weirdo, but not deliberately malicious, his previous works are also just weird, esoteric stuff that he probably made for himself (The Digital Circus is probably his most grounded creation yet)

I dont even care about Goose all that much personally, and I dont plan to anytime soon, the only thing I dont like about him he cant shut his mouth up about his still ongoing show and hint at shit that hasnt happened yet, if I want to talk about this show anywhere in the internet, his tumblr posts containing some new nugget of info will inevitably be brought up

I've seen Gooseworx stuff in the past and they seem to pretty much not do that. It's still retained its comical and goody style.

You see stuff like Zooble but that's as far as it's gonna get for troonery. Seems like his mental state has stopped him from bastardizing his work so far...
 
Goose posted femboy Jax art on his Bsky, not posting that in here for obvious reasons, you can look for that yourself if you really want to, naturally, this stirred up the hive and all that.

but that made me rethink about the Jax is Gay/Trans theory though, there were a lot of past hints towards that being possible, call me a conspiracy theorist, but I think that post is a harbinger of what happens next.
  • Overcompensating how masculine he is
  • That scene of him FUMING extremely hard because he was forced to crossdress to an almost unnatural degree
  • Exclusively targeting the girls, with the creator adding comments that he has his own personal issues stemming from that specific behavior
  • Scoffing at the possibility of him in a heterosexual relationship with Pomni
  • Has a still unexplained, but very obviously deep connection with that dead frog
  • Jokes about him taking progesterone
I know you may think I'm reaching here, but this is Gooseworx we are talking about, you know damn well he's capable of doing this, it's at least a possibility that all of this leads up to Jax repressing a sexuality/gender crisis as the thing that made him become such an anti-social prick, and that's what Pomni and Ragatha would try to fix in the final three episodes
