Zooble's pronouns are pretty much whatever since in the context of the show, they have no idea what they are supposed to be, and the body they spawned with doesn't help. Zooble is pretty much a case of body dysphoria taken to an extreme with how interchangeable their parts are.

It would be too naive to think Goosework didn’t do it on purpose as a woke metaphor. But, yes, I agree it makes sense whitin the context of the show. Tough I will have to assume Zooble doesn’t remember that part in the real world for this to make sense. They do seem to remember at least some bits and pieces.

Yeah it definitely is a metaphor, like it isn't exactly subtle about it.
eh, its ignorable enough, if my brain hasnt been completely fried by politics for the past decade I probably wouldn't have noticed it.

My hope is that this show doesnt devolve into LGBT-centric issues by the end because he needed to vent about it, judging from his past work, its very unlikely thats gonna happen

Honestly, when it comes to Zooble, I am conflicted. Part of me wants to say that the non binary thing is okay and doesn’t matter, because of how not in your face it is, but then I recall all the times we said shit like this before, and then it gets massively out of hand because there’s not enough pushback. I know we don’t want to be the Cancel culture, but at the same time, this troon shit specifically is making kids mutilate themselves today, and God knows how many are going to come out in the near future about their regrets. Hell, there’s an entire sub-reddit about it. And the worst part is, it’s an outgrowth of the LGB movement and its victories. Like, while not the worst show in the world in terms of messaging, it only takes a single spark to light a massive fire for this kind of thing.

I miss the neurotic, nervous wreck Pomni from the pilot. Her becoming a generic nice guy everyman is disappointing, especially when she saved Gangle from abstracting in the end since seeing that happen onscreen would have been kino.
She was pretty neurotic the first three episodes. Giving her a break is pretty justifiable just so it would make sense that she doesn't go crazy. Plus the episode wasn't about her.

Bonus Content: Gooseworx released the unmuffled version of the argument Jax and Ragatha had at the beginning of the episode

So it just me or they sound like a couple here
I kinda ship these two ngl

The kinger episode was dogshit imo, worst episode. At that point in the story I was tired of pomni's contemplative 1 on 1s. I had serious whiplash from kinger's sudden lucidity. I heard the theory about him being normal in the dark but thats fucking retarded

The mcdonalds episode is the best so far. Actually explores different sides of the characters, zooble is there and she's cool :^) drunk ragatha is awesome, she's way more likable when she's not a suck up, jax is nicer and etc.

one of the weakest points of last episode for me is it seemed like it just retreaded the same struggles of existentialism Pomni just had in episode 2 with that AI gummy, the climax and resolution was nowhere near as good as ep 2 to me.

I like episode 4 for changing up the formula just a little bit with Gangle being given a much needed a spotlight on her character, Zooble being actually shown to be a genuinely good person when she's not on a constant state of apathy, and even less involved characters having something interesting to do even when they aren't the main focus

The Mattpat Easter egg in the latest episode gave me a random thought. (A book in Cain's office is named 'Mattpat Theory' if you're curious.) I think Mattpat might have placed GS and Glitch in a corner. While I love the idea of them never being real and being trapped forever for maximum despair, it's also the most popular theory. Plus, Matt has already popularized this kind of theory with his Film Theory show, so it would be quite predictable.

It would still be interesting to see if that's the endgame, don't get me wrong. It just wouldn't be that shocking. I'm not sure if a happy ending would fit either. It's too early to say. We are still getting to know the characters, and the tone has been bittersweet so far. I have no idea where this is leading, and I'm genuinely curious to see what they're aiming for.

Whenever this kind of media references Mattpat I immediately think of this

Like with every mystery media, the answer will either be obvious or bullshit.

It was really funny to me that Gangle just immediately fuckin shut it down without letting Pomni really get a word in when she tried it on her. I know it's supposed to be her putting on a happy face to keep the job going but still.

Edit: Also I just rewatched the scene and even Pomni is sick of it, she's like "this again?" then immediately tries to pawn Gangle off on Ragatha.

Yeah, they’re definitely baiting him to get more views. To be fair, the TADC is pretty likely to get more "theory" videos since most of their fans are kids. But I agree—say, Five Nights at Freddy's wasn’t that deep to begin with, so it really didn’t need all those “deep” theories. But all those forced videos must have paid for his mansion.

Honestly, Matt and his ghostwriters, and current hosts, just make videos about whatever little kids—like, “I still believe in Santa” type of kids—want to watch because it makes him a ton of money. If there’s cash to be made, and a big ipad children audience, Matt’s gonna force a theory, no question. It just so happens TADC fits the bill so he will bite.
