Episode was more focused but it was still too long, developing Kinger character was appreciated but everything else looks like a miss:
Zooble issue is feeling uncomfortable with its "removable parts".
Caine can be easily broken, unless there is some secret plot twist villain, the solution to this entire journey will surely be disappointing.
Gangle having almost no lines is because she is shy, and definitely not because the main cast is overcrowded to sell plushies.
How does the ghost NPC even know/remember Kinger's wife? Will likely never be explained.
With how zooble is written as a joke character I’m surprised she isn’t dead or abstracted yet. She is my least favorite character in the show, and has no personality outside of being an abrasive cunt: and the “le non binary” thing doesn’t work because the VA is clearly a woman voicing a woman.
I think it would have been a better interaction if they said that zooble cannot be happy, as she has all the customizable options she can ask for but still acts like a whiny bitch. But that would require critiquing the sacred tranny cow, which is a crime to these “people”…
Aside from that I enjoy the show. The expressions are always well-done and most of the characters are good (even if gangle is predictable, and zooble has no reason to be here)
Also I’m pretty sure Caine is less of an antagonist and more of an obstacle or liability: the humans clearly don’t like him but they have to keep him happy or else they’ll have a much bigger problem to deal with.

It's weird how I can't find Rean anywhere in SonicMega's Kinger performance. The guy usually isn't that good at disguising himself, I could see him pretty easily in Mista and Majima.
TADC is mista and trish's schizophrenic hallucination while giorno was stabbing himself with the requiem arrow

Well, assuming TrannyWorx isn't just saying things to say them he mentions how Caine is based on A.M. to an extent. I think I remember him also saying somewhere that Caine doesn't understand human emotions clearly.

Anyway, judging from that statement about A.M. and my knowledge of I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream then my guess is that Caine won't be an antagonist by choice but rather because he's a slave to his programming. Much like how A.M. could only torture and destroy because it's all he's been programmed to do it could be that Caine is programmed to keep them in the simulation and keep them distracted from finding an exit even if he doesn't necessarily wish ill on them even if he wanted them to leave he can't let them because he's not programmed to allow that.

I'm probably just putting way more thought into this than the tranny did though. So don't get your hopes up. I won't.

That is a very interesting point. Also, I'm not sure if there even is an exit. I personally believe the theory that they are no longer human, but digital copies of humans.

It would explain why it wipes their memories at all. Could be the constructs were simply meant to be based on their core personality or something. But the process doesn't always work 100% which is why some of them still remember bits and pieces of their real selves.

But after being disappointed so badly by Murder Drones my expectations are insanely low as you'd probably expect. That being said the story SEEMS far more coherent than Murder Drones ever did so I do have some hope. Let's just hope the tranny doesn't choke in the near future.

Ignore this unless you're from the future
I'm pre-registering my intent to write Jürgen Schmidhuber's Amazing Digital Semimeasure at some point in the next 10 years, but I'm not putting any sort of claim on the topic. If it's been 10 years and I'm not responding, someone else should have a go.

He did say there's no gay deep lore shit that plagued a lot of zoomer-era media thats gonna turn the plot into an incomprehensible clusterfuck (cough cough Murder Drones), so that's a plus, I have no problem in watching a relatively straightforward story unfold naturally.

I will say I'm not exactly opposed to DEEP LORE or little details in the background that enhance or add to the story. The problem is when your entire fucking story is basically told through these methods which is basically what Murder Drones did. Or just flat out not showing what would be important story beats in any other medium. That too.

As long as TADC avoids these two flaws it should be passable at the very least.

Deep lore is just a fucking poison. The deep lore is always used to undo or overturn the original story. Why did so and so do such and such? In the story, it was to help the MC, but if you just paid close attention to some DEEP LORE, you’ll find so and so only did it because he thought such and such would actually hurt the MC and secretly he’s the puppet master behind everything. Take any amount of flavor and it will inevitably lead down that hole.

It’s like Esotericism; there’s always something deeper, and just beyond comprehension.

Well we're getting the next episode a lot quicker. Not that I'm complaining. Happy that it's Gangle's episode too.

new episode is out, and i feel like the entire mask metaphor has another message that i'm missing out on since zooble is the good "guy" for gangle in this episode

That was decent but in my opinion it didn't reach the comedic or emotional heights of the other episodes. But it was a decently good introspective on a few characters and I enjoyed Gangle getting focus because they've honestly been the most one-note character of the cast so far. I think a lot of what's going on with Gangle is intentionally left open to interpretation or vague, depending on if the mask's actually influence her emotional state and personality or not and maybe if she's trying to even convince herself they do. I think Ragatha's true thoughts and feelings leaking out was more interesting though, it's funny that she's genuinely annoyed that Pomni would rather talk to Gummigoo than her.

Speaking of, Pomni was indeed blatantly flirting with the NPC and has a crush on him. That's kind of funny.

Not bad, but I don't think it stands out as much as other episodes.

My favorite part is Jax not being an asshole for a few minutes, which I found to be a surprising reaction from me since I like him being an unabashed asshole. I think its an indication that he worked a soul sucking dead end job before whatever the fuck happened to get him there. And by working a similar soulless dead end job with the rest of the cast he kind of tapped into his prior humanity and sympathized with them leading to him being a bit nicer.

Even if its a only temporary behavioral change brought on by the stress of the "real" job, its pretty fascinating character work.

I really appreciated the new character Truck-kun. Did notice that Caine is getting more unhinged which I guess makes sense with this apparently shows supposedly only lasting one season.

The series is good overall but I will be extremely pissed if the twist at the end is that "they're all copies of people so there is no escape" cause that was the plot of like six episodes of Black Mirror. Also if Pomni is dude in reality or something, which will probably happen to one of the characters with the creator being a tranny and using an avatar that looks like Zooble.

I wonder if perhaps with the NPC Jax theories, that he possibly could've come from a world like the fast food place, or had been in a similar place before.

Though as for the episode itself, its fine. So far the best episode for me is really the third one, but this show is pretty good. I wonder if it is going to have 8 episodes like Murder Drones has, since it is one season and all.
