I joke about calling it trash, but all things considered, it's a good show. The animation is good, the jokes land, the characters are entertaining (... most of the time), its main flaw really is that the plot gets stuck in ep2.

This will sound spergy, but watching TADC to me is kinda like watching those old GMOD Sandbox/RP videos I used to love as a kid.



Of course I don't find these videos as entertaining as they used to be, but the vibes of seeing people dilly dally in a virtual world where the sky is the limit is pretty fun.

Does Goosewirks even own TADC? I imagine GLITCH is some shady entity that gets its grubby hands on as many IPs as possible and markets them to kids.

At least FNAF was owned/made by one guy.

I was talking about that in the Glitch thread the other day. We were discussing how Knights of Guinevere hadn't been greenlit after three months, and that Glitch is now working on more series, including Lackadaisy and a new 2D series called Gameoverse. With the number of projects they're working on now, plus the fact that KoG has been the worst-performing pilot on the Glitch channel to date, we started joking that KoG would get rejected and that Dana would make a series against Glitch as revenge for betraying her. I said that if Dana Terrace leaves Glitch, Glitch would probably retain the rights to the series, like corpos do.

Edit: I forgot that Ultra Jump Mania exists.

I've seen some people on the KOG subreddit theorize that GLITCH is either waiting for TADC to end or that they're waiting until more progress has been made on the series to announce it's been renewed since 2D animation takes more time to produce.

However, even as someone who liked the pilot, seeing another 2D animated pilot being announced with no KOG news does not sound good for Dana.

Its also just stupid to think this way, which isn't surprising if its coming from coping redditors. Announcing something has been picked up is when the thing starts getting made, because that is when the producers put serious money behind it and want to drum up the fanfare so it succeeds.

Fact is that its pilot didn't do well enough and the merch, the thing that actually makes Glitch money, likely did just as well.
 
I am SHOCKED Dana’s Disney revenge fantasy show with ugly lesbians isn’t printing mad bucks for GLITCH.

It’s almost like most of the people praising her online are a minority crowd of lesbian fetishist gooners and woke manchildren, and Disney was 100% on the right on canceling her pet show.

Mind you Disney, one of the wokest enterteinment companies, canceled her show at the height of the woke era. She can’t even accuse them of “homophobia”. Maybe, just maybe she was too busy trying to get Tumblr and twitter ass pats she neglected kids, you know, her target audience?

Disney gave her a once in a lifetime opportunity, that many other pros would kill for, by bankrolling her original idea, but she still chose to be bitter about it.

Even if you are into the lesbian fetish, why would you want to get your fix from her ugly manly butch cartoon characters instead of literally anywhere else like anime?

KoG might not have flopped but glitch probably realized that TADC ending means they need an actual replacement as main push and kog probably wont be it.

Call me cynical but it's clear TADC is being written around merch (useless costume changes, etc). It might be goose's vision but glitch want that merch money and they will pressure the other shows into it. For all it's flaws with murder drones, i think glitch will keep pushing it forever cause it's a very toyetic show.

Out of the incoming shows, i think glitch expects gaslight district is to pull the murder drone crowd with it's quirky edge, it has zany character designs and bird mascot. Lackadaisy is furries with an already built fanbase and Gameoverse is literal videogame ripoffs.

KoG is the hardest one to make merch here as not only it's a body horror adult show, everyone looks gross other than the literal not!disney princess mascot who represents the soulless capitalist corporation. How do you make a comedy sketch telling people to buy her plushies without sounding a little hypocrite?

The fact glitch outright said they will finish digital circus first before makes other show episodes beyond pilots makes me think they're testing the waters with all of them before deciding who will replace TADC as the main production push.

This seems like a really strange approach. By the time TADC wraps up, initial hype from all the pilots will be long gone. Do they expect people to just watch whatever they decide to put out regardless of what show gets selected?

It's likely because it's specifically clearly made as "show where we put wacky looking but semi "normal" characters in wacky situations they react to" sort of thing and when it comes to merch of shows like that it's gonna be tied to those or have real merch made AS a joke to tie into the promo of the merch in the show.

I haven't ever gotten around to watching any of these shows put out by these guys in full but Digital circus seems the most in-line with a very specific type of shitpost humor going by what I have watched/seen of it via catching friends watching it a year or so 2 ago when it was just the pilot and the clips I've seen since.
 
I just watched this show for the first time and I was very entertained by it. It seems like something like this should be terrible. Am I missing something? In the age of nothing good to watch, I've really been happy with this. Already rewatched the available episodes once too.

Credit where credit is due, I was wary too because people like GW tend to be ideology driven first, and they tend to just parasite beloved franchises, or make unwatchable garbage in the rare cases they get the chance to make an original idea.

He still isn’t completely devoid of the message, just look at Zooble. But I do genuinely think this is a project he made out of love and genuine passion, and it shows.
