That's a misleading image. The uncensored version of the drawing is of the character in a swimsuit. The censoring makes it look like a nude picture

Glitch Productions is a business lolcow.

You know, this is unrelated, but you remind me of something I read back in 2020-2022? that specifically called Luke Lerdwichagul a lolcow for letting Kevin take over SMG4 and allowing the show to decline and become filled with weeaboo shit. I don't remember where I read it.

However, I found this Virgin vs. Chad meme from 2020 in my old screenshots (for some reason, I cropped out the SML part). It was created before SMG4 was redesigned, so it only refers to Meggy as the redesigned character. I couldn't find the original image, so this is the only one I have. It's a bit low quality, but I'm posting it anyway because it has similar arguments.

I heard that Vivziepop abused her animators. And besides, Disney kinda started as an indie studio when you think about it.

I don't really care about Vivziepop, but you remind me of a tweet someone posted when the first season of Hazbin premiered on Amazon in 2024.

I saved this screenshot because I thought it would be useful. And as of now, Helluva Boss is no longer indie, since it's also being funded by Amazon.

How the fuck do you manage to mess it up this bad when even an OBJECT SHOW WEBSERIES was able to do it just fine, multiple times?????
Theatrical release 1 day before the online release to not upset online-only fans, as far as I can find no distribution drama, etc. Literal stick figure slop is more competent than Glitch.

Speaking of the devil, Vivziepop also didn't have this problem when they showed Helluva Boss in Mexican theaters.

This is unrelated, but this reminds me of when Helluva Boss was shown in theaters in Mexico, I'm not kidding, that happened.

There was even a voice actor panel with the official Spanish VAs.

Out of boredom, I've decided to make a map of which European countries (including states with limited recognition and dependent territories) you'll be able to watch the upcoming TADC movie in.

tadc_movie_map_2026.5.10.png

Some observations as of May 10:
  • Hungary and Romania are the only EU members in which the movie won't be released in, most likely due to local regulations (e.g., LGBTQ+ content in Hungary is rated 18+)
  • Despite the nega incident, there will be screenings in Montenegro
  • The movie will also be released in Transnistria, a breakaway state in Moldova with no international recognition.
  • The exclusion of Israel and the inclusion of several Muslim-majority European countries could mean Glitch finds Albanians and Bosniaks to be more valuable than Jews.
Now, take these with a grain of salt because translations can be wonky, but basically, Glitch is being taken to court for their attempt at terminating their contract with the Korean distributors, since the stipulation that Glitch is to send them footage of the movie to be graded was clearly stated in said contract when they signed it. If this is true, then I fucking hate the bootlicking side of the fandom even more now for acting like Glitch never did anything wrong
When I thought things couldn't get any dumber, I got proven wrong once again. They really want to become the next Disney. Yet they lack the competence to achieve such a feat. I now have a feeling that one day Glitch Productions is going to fly too close to the sun and doom itself.

:stress:
This gave me secondhand embarrassment. When a cartoon about literal objects with faces slapped on them has an easier time making theatrical releases with less controversy than the so-called "king of indie animation," then its leadership should not only feel ashamed; they should reconsider how they run this entire circus. There are people who need to be sacked, that's sure.

The only thing I know about BFDI is that one of the guys making it is a STEM nerd who has a separate YouTube channel for STEM-related videos. Maybe that could explain the difference in competence. But hey, that's just a theory.

Speaking of the virgin vs. chad meme, smg4 fans love to make them where smg4 is the chad and sml is the virgin, I found 3 of them when I tried to search for the virgin smg4 image.

This whole drama completely self inflicted on glitch's part because they cannot comprehend that getting a movie all over the planet is a lot more complicated than asking your huge fanbase to spam mail their local cinema.

You don't understand guys. We are sooooo indie. We can't actually do shit by ourselves, we need YOUR help to show the world how indie animation can be cinema. No, we will not care about the laws of your country cause we aint reading. We will not send our movie for ratings cause these fucks might leak it. Even if we wanted, we didn't even finish the movie yet! We are just some quirky relatable indie animators uwu.

1778459674219.png

Mark my words, this movie will get delayed and glitch will say it's to "sort out misunderstanding".

Some observations as of May 10:
And most/all of these still do not have an age rating yet, despite it being like 3 weeks till release already.

glitch-responds-to-cinema-situation-v0-rgbi2r6lmd0h1.jpeg

Also glitch can fuck off, indie (animated) movies release globally in theatres all the time after premiering at a film festival or whatever and still take like 6 months to do so while being a fully finished award winning product already. No one forced them to arrange a global theatrical release within 2 months, if they wanted it that badly they shouldve started earlier or pushed back the release date.

Also so much for 'respecting the artists vision' when its implied Cooper didnt really want the theatre release in the first place and is now working himself into 41% territory to meet a deadline that didnt even need to exist. Not censoring some dialogue to prevent it from it being unreleasable in some countries (or at least unreleasable as a pg13 or equivalent movie which is what most distibuters would want) doesnt make up for that.

I don't know what would be funnier, Glitch delaying episode 9 to deal with all the theatrical release redtape or just cancelling the theatrical release outright while keeping the June 19 release date for YT and Netflix.

Well the US one at least got its pg13 rating today finally, so I cant imagine them cancelling or even delaying that major moneymaker.

But they really shouldve stuck to the original north america, latam and japan plan. No way are they gonna get it rated in time with countries contacted less than a month ago.

I've been wracking my brain trying to think about WHY Glitch wanted the movie to release in June so badly. As a reminder, the release date for June 19th was announced at the end of Episode 8, meaning Glitch was certain that they'd be able to get the episode made and do all this theater nonsense in Three Months.

By all accounts, they could've NOT announced a release date, announce the last episode is going to be shown in theaters, take as long as they need to finish the episode itself and deal with the red tape, then, and ONLY then, finally announce a release date once they've gotten everything sorted out and there would be no need for any kind of delay.

Even that aside, why June? Why not give themselves a bit more leeway and announce the date for the end of the year, or even next year? Knowing they're going to have to sort out the theater situation, why give themselves such a tight deadline?

Try as I might, there was only really one reason I can think of as to why Glitch is so adamant about getting this movie released in theaters in June. And I know this is the second or third time I've brought this up, but it bears repeating

For reference, Toy Story 5's release date was announced as early as a teaser trailer in November 2025, with the official trailer dropping in February, both of which predates Episode 8

I said a while back that Glitch is trying to steal Toy Story 5's thunder by releasing their own movie so close to Toy Story 5 and assert once and for all that they're better than Disney.

They completely failed to notice the fact that Toy Story 5 had a teaser trailer all the way in November, meaning they already had something to show for, and still 7 whole months to showtime, while Glitch thinks that as a self-proclaimed indie company, they can just bank on the goodwill of their fans to magically make all the theaters like them and get everything sorted out in less than half that time

Very curious how Iron Lung was already fully completed by the time the distribution campaign started, and even with the kinda late contacting of the cinemas for it, it had no problem getting rated in time and got shown globally on the premiere date with no issues.

Screenshot_20260511_045636_Chrome.jpg

Its almost like you should only expand AFTER having fully completed the initial smaller plan. Markiplier had a finished product and already completed the whole distribution process for those 60 cinemas 2+ months before premiere, and that formed the base from which to expand from, without making big unfulfillable promises.

He was probably more calm, slow and careful about it because it was a work of passion that he had the full control over, while the glitch execs are trying to squeeze every last penny out of their cashcow now that they still can before cooper demands they kill the franchise forever.

Very slimy of them to blindly pull the 'call your theatre!' shit after they saw Markiplier make 10x the movies budget in profit (on a film he worked for years on himself) from it, without actually being able to deliver on their promises. Especially when theyre hurting mainly kids and teens in the process since thats their main audience, as well as fellow small businesses.

Holy shit, I didn’t even notice Toy Story 5 was releasing the same day as TADC. Glitch is about to get squashed so fucking hard LMAO
