Destroying the Chemies despite the fact that Houtaro has proven to befriend them and are the ones giving them powers was a useless subplot, quite frankly.

I never got that reason when I watched that scene. "Let's forget about what happened lately, it's just our imagination." Utterly ridiculous and it's an obvious rush-job to end the series.
 
Gotchard was just okay. It was as if someone took Den-O, Pokemon, and Fullmetal Alchemist and asked Grok to pitch ideas based on all three.

Clearly someone was infatuated with Gilon/Geryon, whether he was their pet villain or they just liked the actor, even though Gigist and Germain were more interesting. Geryon's greatest offense was cockblocking Spanner.

The Hundred/Legend episodes were a time and an excuse to jangle some Heisei/Neo-Heisei keys at the audience.

The actress for Clotho was clearly having a great time doing the fight scenes.

I'm a little bit worried about Gavv being a let down, but I'm going to binge watch that one next.

At least they resolved it. Remember how they made a big deal about the Dreadriver killing Chemies in its first appearance, only to coincidentally invent an entire set of replica Chemies solely to be used as fuel for Dread?

I think I read somewhere that one of her power-ups was written into the story solely so she'd be able to film fights while wearing a warmer outfit in the winter.

So, episode 22 of Zeztz just came, and after seeing what Nox did to the other agents, it's hard to see Seven react the way he did.
Hell, this A.I. made by someone else sums up the whole thing.

 
So Gavan Infinity started. Saw episode 1.

Felt decent, and by that I mean I thought some stuff was dumb in the way a kid won't notice and it was overall child-friendly as expected. I wasn't expecting Gavan to be using Kamen Rider henshin toys because I missed all the ads, but it at least was not something I felt bad for watching after. Not sure if I want to continue watching, but it's not like I hated it either. Complicated feelings I suppose.
 
Toei announced a new toku series in celebration of the 10th anniversary of their streaming service. It stars Ultraman Geed.

Finally gave Gavan Infinity a chance and my initial findings:

- Definitely has Super Sentai vibes throughout the show with ships that transform into robots and the emotive transformation trinkets.
- Also like Super Sentai, the show tries to appeal to children more with those aforementioned trinkets and the explanation of parallel worlds was told through a short animated sequence.
- Like Dekaranger, aliens and humans co-exist on Earth.
- The usual explanation of the transformation process is mentioned.

I'll try to watch 1-2 episodes of this and then decide later if I should drop it or not.
 
Watched the second episode of Gavan Infinity and I'm dropping it in favor of Dynaman instead. I think I can still slog through an early-80's Super Sentai show while I still have the mood for it.
 
Zeztz 24: "May you find your worth in the waking the world."

I haven't been this locked in on a KR series since Zero-One.
 
I want to see where Zeztz goes after Ep. 25 since it's like Zeztz is playing a New Game+ at this point.

Dynaman as expected is kind of a slog to watch like much of the previous series after Goranger but Ep. 34-36 sees the Dynaman team create a new finisher against more powerful Evilution beasts and just watched Ep. 37 today where Female General Zenobia is introduced.
