I'm hoping they expand on how CODE and Seven can manipulate reality outside the dream world. It seems like ZEZTZ is especially capable of it, but there's obviously more mysteries there anyways.
Zeztz is definitely an anomaly since he's able to retain the Capsems he obtained before the reset. There should be a good explanation for that one.

Other than that, Zeztz's forms continue to impress me compared to Gavv.

Part of what helps make each form of Zeztz work as well as it does is that it acts as an extension of the base forms.
You can see with the Physicam forms and the Technolom forms. Each ability acts as an extension of the idea they're based on, but I do admit I wish Esprim and Paradigm had a third Capsems just to even things out with other base forms.
Maybe Esprim's third Capsems could grant Zeztz the ability to generate plant growth, and Paradigm's third Capsems could make Zeztz invisible. Zeztz's theme is being a spy so it would be fitting.

What's also helpful is that each form truly feels earned.
Each power expands Baku's character growth, like with Plasma, where, despite being warned about the true nature of Capsems by Nox, Baku ultimately confronts the mysteries and nightmares of his past and thus gains a new power, and Catastrom, which was gained from Baku's desire to kill Nox after he cause the of the other agents and cause more choas in the world.
And while the world did reset, Baku is still haunted by trauma from those events, which leads to the people wanting to prevent that dark future.

I've always liked Kamen Rider power-ups that are related to their base forms such as Kuuga, Agito, Faiz, Kabuto and Build. Also related to power-ups that are earned, Agito and Blade comes to mind first since they had to either settle their resolve or fight for it to earn their upgrades unlike the others where it's just given to them from other people.

Speaking of Zeztz, Kamen Rider Dawn's actor has been revealed. He's another veteran from a previous series.
Sieg Dawn.webp
I don't know about you, but this guy looks completely trustworthy. Not even a chance of being a traitor.

Two series (Blade and Fourze)

Using 25 episodes to set up a prophetic dream/New Game+ is a narrative gamble that I'm glad to see might pay off.

Now that Sentai is dead/on hold, I started watching Ohsama Sentai King-Ohger since it was allegedly one of the better series. 32 episodes in and it's not bad. The King Rangers are all selfishly selfless (my country first and foremost, but we'll work together for the sake of the world). The space king reminds me a bit of Evolto from Build (tragic backstory? Nah, I'm evil because it's just fun).

If Kamen Rider is 'Toys for the Toy God' Sentai had that problem times ten. Also, the transformation jingles got really obnoxious and didn't let up, unlike Rider which gives you the full henshin of a given form at most three times and then backs off a bit.

- The usual explanation of the transformation process is mentioned.
watching it with the gang we were a little annoyed they didn't explain the transformation but then they did and we were happy they did they thing and we pointed

the single thing I hate most of modern toku is the singing and dancing henshins

Dropped the series after episode 2, let me know if the series gets better.

Just finishing Dynaman and I'm liking Dark Knight as a wild card against both the heroes & villains and being undefeated so far even with the likes of Female General Zenobia.

Zeztz has continued to be a really welcome surprise. First Rider show I haven't dropped after a few episodes in a good, long while.

Gavan Infinity... I dunno. I kinda wish the toys and gimmicks were more unique. Aside from the costumes, all the props feel like recycled Sentai shit. Literally so in the case of the sword, but the gun's just Tegasword again in practice. I'll give it one more episode, but I'm probably gonna wind up dropping it. It just feels like more Sentai instead of new Gavan.

I think the mistake of the show is trying to be a Metal Hero yet like you said, it just feels like a Super Sentai show instead with the cute-y transformation item and the outro dance. I gave it up after 2 episodes since I was hoping that it would at least feel like watching the old Gavan show again.

It's odd considering that Metal Heroes replaced Kamen Rider for a long time and that the atmosphere of most of these shows were just like Kamen Rider - having some darker aspects while still making it as a kid's show and then Gavan Infinity decides to be Super Sentai lite.

It's sad when the past Space Sherriff swords looked better than a literal recycled Donbrothers' sword.

Yeah, it just doesn't feel different enough. It's a Sentai show that happens to be named after Gavan. Like, I appreaciate that there's like, a bare minimum attempt at doing some Space Sheriff stuff like Makuu Space, the eyecatch, the breakdown of the transformation, etc. I just wish the toys and the aesthetics reflected that better. So fucking tired of dance number openings and endings, quirky talking collectibles and stuff. The whole "changer is the main weapon and also the robot" thing is just not working for me either.

We don't even see the overall villain being responsible for distributing those illegal Emogears in the first place as well other than a mysterious villain-type Gavan from episode 2.

Also had to check the other Gavans beyond episode 2, aside from Luminous....
there's another Gavan who's literally an ant.
I've heard enough.

It's ironic, because that was what arguably what killed the Metal Heroes franchise for a while, trying to appeal to a younger audience. Let's just hope the next season doesn't follow in Kabutack and Robotack's footsteps.

Not even the first time something like this happened. Remember when Ultraman Z got a weapon that was just one of Orb's recycled weapons?

Even the sword from Zyuranger was a recycled toy. It's not that I'm against prop recycling. But when one of the main toys from your new franchise is a recycled toy, it doesn't bode well.

it's okay
it seems to struggle with making its humor and its drama work together
the girls have ginormous tiddies

As much as I want to like Zeztz, I'm just burnt out after years of the same "heroic organization is actually evil" gimmick that's happened nearly throughout the entire Reiwa Era. It stops being a plot twist if you do it every fucking year.

As much as I dislike Gavv's suits, at least it didn't have a "good organization that's evil" cliche and that it didn't have another Kamen Rider as a final villain.

His English is really good.

Zeztz has been enjoyable. I found it funny that the flashback stuff in this week's episode took place in 2004. Which was the same year that Blade aired. Meaning that while Tachibana was an agent of BOARD, Sieg was an agent of CODE. I wonder what Mr. Kohei was up to?

Toei should make Garren VS Dawn Ft. Libra Zodiarts.
