Last Ghost record I gave a try was "Melora" and, well, yeah, never looked back. Guess good for him that he turned the band into such a massive merchandise machine.
Saw Biohazard, Exodus, and Sepultura last night. Hard to pick a favorite set, probably was Biohazard though. I had been wanting to see Punishment live for so long. Crowd and venue were both very sick. Fun night.

Punishment is a timeless classic. I had to leave my elementary school graduation ceremony early to see them in 1997. It's hard to believe it was that long ago. I'm pretty sure I still have the ticket stub somewhere. The venue was a small and packed. The air was so humid it was hard to breathe. It was a lot of fun and I'm glad my dad was cool enough to take me to concerts he didn't care for when I was little.
Another thing I remember is scoring a really neat promo item from a downtown music store. It was a vertical Mata Leao banner made of fabric (!), two pieces of wood and a piece of string to hang. I'm calling it a "promo item" because it was supposed to advertise the band in stores and they didn't sell it as merch. At least that's how I understood it then. This is the best picture I have, please don't laugh or I'll cry.
