Big improvement over the first one, much obliged. And now, a new chart:
You're welcome.Big improvement over the first one, much obliged.
That album specifically has this little number on it. Given their later career, I wouldn't be surprised if this song was celebrating the Klan:Oh yeah, Korrozia Metalla had a neo-nazi phase didn't they.
But they're Russian, which might as well be middle earth in the west, so nobody really knows of them or cares enough to ban their albums on spotify/discogs haha
Speaking of Canadian crusties doing Black/Death Metal, I keep revisiting Iskra in the hope that I'll get used to the vocals but everytime I leave disappointed. It's so frustrating, because the band is great, but there is absolutely no variation in the vocals within or throughout all their songs at all, ever, which is such a waste.
Looking at some live footage it finally occurred to me that the singer is probably running her mic through a filter, and my question is just... why?
That Lvcifyre album was so good. I usually hate death metal under the dissoshit umbrella but this was an exception.

Check out the dumpster fire of a thread M-A has going on it right now if you want a laughNew GBK studio album announced three days ago on the WTC Instagram. First in 17 years. The song snippet was short, but from what I could tell the production on the drums is some of the best I’ve heard. I know Gelal’s stuff is usually guitar oriented but the drums always impress me, especially in Hornets of the Pogrom.
Jesus christ, NWN getting nuked really was the final nail in the coffin for metal forums. The criteria these people have for "non-sketch" music is totally unreasonable so they end up riding the wave of shitty flavor of the week bandcamp RABM and OSDM nobody's heard of instead. That's why they shit on the 90s bands so much. They're so prolific and so well documented in chris chan level detail that if you look hard enough, you'll find something sketch even in the most politically ambivalent bands. I pity them. They wouldn't know a good riff if Hank Shermann beat them over the head with Melissa.Check out the dumpster fire of a thread M-A has going on it right now if you want a laugh
And yeah, it sounds like Kosherat with a more bottomy drum sound, as far as I can tell from the sample.
Instagram compression probably doesn't help, but it does sound a bit slammed (but what else is new)
Guess I'll be buying one 2022 album before the year's over.
RABM and OSDM
Old School Death Metal. OSDM revival usually yields boring bands, but on the other hand, genuine OSDM bands from yesteryear will feel inspired to remaster and reissue forgotten classics.I am not sure if I really want to know but what is RABM and OSDM?
