Alright, time for my cum dump in this thread.
I got more but this is what I listen to the most.
 
now playing: HEAVY METAL ARMY from Japan.


It's their only album. They changed their name later to EASTERN ORBIT, released another album and split-up. But not before doing a soundtrack album for the super awesome 80s Mad Max rip off movie "Battletruck"!

 
A couple more vinyl purchases-Lawless Darkness by Watain and The Sanguinary Impetus by Defeated Sanity. I don't even have a record player yet, but that's next. I just really missed owning music in a physical format-I had a collection of over 200 CDs, but all were lost in a chaotic move a few years ago.

RABM is Red and Black Metal. Is pro communist black metal. It's invariably terrible and written by basement dwelling neckbeards.

In other news, Deathspell Omega and several other NoEvDia bands have had their albums mysteriously disappear off of Bandcamp. People are emailing the label but nobody knows for sure what's going on just yet, though I can't help but notice this occured just after Epic Games purchased Bandcamp. We may possibly be seeing Bandcamp going on a witchhunt for problematic bands.

The NED stuff is still there for me, but Deathspell's songs are all gone from their album pages.

Bandcamp deleted everything they identified as "hate" during the post-Trump-election worldwide tech censorship spree, so all that's left to purge is people. Deathspell has one possibly right-wing dude in it, right? Everything must go.

I didn't use bandcamp real regularly until about 2017, do they have a history of suppressing wrongthink?

I do remember them purging porngrind bands after it was discovered the Dayton, Ohio shooter was a member of a porngrind band. There are also countless cases of them deleting the pages of politically incorrect bands.

One of the only good metal sites left is Voices from the Darkside, which just gives you the news with none of the political bullshit.
