TF2 Emporium - 15-year-old cabal of terminally online game content creators contributing to the rot of a near 20-year-old game they could care less for.

I wonder if trannies ever understood that normal people either dont give a shit or dont like this type of slacktivism. This cult cant die any sooner

e: For the sake of curiosity, I decided to look into Entropy, the main guy behind the map. Unsurprisingly, he is a walking tranny L:

And constantly e-begs on his Bluesky:

He also has the classic non-passing fag voice:

Honestly, not so surprising these types of people resort to inserting their political messaging wherever they go. They really have nothing else going for them other than the tranny shit
Anything but getting a real job.

Seems like a perfect moment to go over what custom gamemodes workshoppers seem to be trying to insert into the game this time around

First off, some of the usual VSH / boss slop:

VSH Thorne

vsh2.webp

Medusa

vsh1.webp

Some people already calling these maps goonbait and talking about how awfully balanced they are. Also obviously released on the same date to get on the same hype train. Aside from that, meet attempt #23 of worksloppers trying to insert community gamemodes into casual:

Roulette (Randomizer)

randomizer1.webp

Frankenizer (Randomizer)

randomizer2.webp

At this point I'm wondering how long it will take until some of og gamemode creators (the ones made in Sourcemod) come around and make a stink about it. Surely it must be annoying to see your original work getting shittified and monetized through Valve? Besides, these portoflio farming trannies could really use a reality check

It really pisses me the fuck off that community servers are dead (minus the stupid trade and other dumb crap servers) in the water and instead of just advertising one on their shitty socials or in their trooncord, they have to shit it up on the workshop instead. I was never big on randomizer, but I love VSH and the defunct wacky races maps. I don't believe something like that belongs in the normal TF2 map rotation because what makes a game like TF2 timeless and fun is the fan content beyond the main maps like CP Orange and maybe even surf. I was pretty stoked for having VSH being "official," but half the fun of VSH is the many different boss fights not limited to just saxton hale. Xenon didn't make MARIO_KART and cyberpunk because he wanted to make money of it (I hope), he made it because he was in love with the game and wanted to fuck around with the map editor. These people do not get that adding community game modes to the casual lineup doesn't make sense.

Women are not for TF2.

Except the Administrator and Miss Pauling (and the assorted comic characters if you count them as canon).
Even I doubt miss pauling’s inclusion. Something about old TF2’s only woman being a complete controlling bitch made the game feel different.

She was a better character when she was just the dogsbody the administrator hired to do her dirty work. Once she became a love interest for Scout was when she went downhill.

It makes sense with TF2's unseen spy movie story at least. That's another thing these people don't make maps of, the style of 2007 TF2.

Three days ago, someone uploaded a video alongside a Google Spreadsheet reviewing how much of the community content added into TF2 since Love & War (June 2014) to Smissmas 2024 is connected to the Emporium:

TL;DR it's a total of 89.6% over 1029/1150 pieces of content, with Meet Your Match (July 2016) oddly enough having the lowest Emporium control at 33% (next in line is Smissmas 2020 at 75%) and the updates with the highest Emporium control being a tie between Scream Fortress 2016, Jungle Inferno (October 2017), Blue Moon (March 201'8, Smissmas 2018, Summer 2019, and Smissmas 2019 all at 100%.

Several updates including Smissmas 2014, Gun Mettle (July 2015), Invasion (October 2015), Rainy Day (May 2017), Summer 2020, Summer 2021, and Smissmas 2022 were only one away from 100% Emporium control; while Summer 2014, End of the Line (December 2014), Scream Fortress 2015, Tough Break (December 2015), Mayflower (May 2016), Smissmas 2016, Scream Fortress 2018, Scream Fortress 2019, Scream Fortress 2021, Smissmas 2021, Summer 2022, Scream Fortress 2023, Summer 2024, and Smissmas 2024 were merely a few away from 100% as well. All 100% updates and close 100% updates combined means 56% of all content updates within the last 11 years were nearly completely controlled by the Emporium.

The calculated average per TF2 content update is 88% Emporium controlled. Utterly insane.

That reminds me of that spreadsheet I was working on months ago that was going to list every contributor and the # of items they got accepted. I had posted about it in one of the TF2 threads here, but ended up giving up on that spreadsheet entirely because it was too much fucking work and I have a life.
