It's email, not fucking discord. No we don't need fucking emoji reacts on everything. It's bad enough when iOS users reply to my texts with an emoji.
Just fuck off with that shit.
Fucking hell, I've already planned on setting up self hosted e-mail (Yes, I am aware it is a Sysiphean task) over the holidays to free myself from g-mail, now I see I couldn't have picked a better timing. I may as well switch from Thunderbird to Mull, or just reading my mail from Emacs, it is genuinely fucking comfy to do more an more stuff in there lol. It's email, not fucking discord.
I never understood the whole rgb thing beyond seeing it as a good status light.Do people REALLY want to show off their literal "EVERY PART HAS RGB LIGHTS" to people?
Outside of a keyboard that lights up your keys, I find LEDs to be tacky and gaudy. It’s a trend that needs to die off just for how annoying it is.Do people REALLY want to show off their literal "EVERY PART HAS RGB LIGHTS" to people? And the glass on the front and top looks like it's there to break to force people to buy new computers earlier.
To that end, bring back the 5.25" drive-bays!Gaming PC Cases have always been on the side of too flashy, but two recent trends with them have really annoyed me:
The first is the trend of having glass side panels, which have also include glass front panels and even top glass:

Another recent trend is the addition of LCD screens on cases, which reminds me of the growing trend of excess screens in cars:

I hate that GIMP devs decided to squeeze by default all the tools into groups only now that screens are large enough to comfortably fit them all at once. It just makes selecting stuff slower.
Luckily they didn't GNOME it out and left an option to the user to disable the tool grouping.
Classic look:

Bonus, it also gets better if you enable classic icons, because colorful icons are easier to tell apart:

DuroFlow is a good water filter. Then just buy any generic candle stick style tank. Buy a reverse osmosis system if you can have it permanently installed. (haven't researched best rev osmo)I don't even know where to post this but I miss when reviews felt at all trustworthy. I have no idea how to find anything of value. if I want to buy a water purifier where do I look? do I just go to amazon and sort by rating for water purifier? it's either that or googling "water purifier best reddit" and reading random replies but I swear to fucking god the quality of Google is so fucking bad now that it's legitimately better to just go to gemini and type "give me a comparison of water purifiers" but then I'm talking to a fucking computer with ZERO anecdotal experience. What I want to see is a review from a guy who is fucking obsessed about water quality and belongs to some religious cult about water with a degree in microbiology minored in hydrowhateverthefuck at Georgia Tech who is named Moses and also enjoys water painting rivers and oceans in his spare time. But where would he post? Probably as u/Stinky_Bracelet2910 on reddit.
it's not just a low trust society it is a zero trust society. I have no faith in anything. I know everything I buy is Chinese shit. Every brand name I recognize is probably a victim of corporate identity theft with an Indian CEO who has already hollowed it from the inside out.
edit: btw I am vaguely aware most reviews are on TikTok now and that's where people go t find water filters. mom searches "water filter" on TikTok and sees @sallymae2910's sponsored review and that's what sell sthe unit.

GIMP 3.0+ is ass. 2 and earlier is much better.I hate that the new GIMP has changed how the 'Align and Distribute' tool works.
In 3.0 they did fix the colour anti-aliasing. In the old releases it would make white look like cyan and yellow instead of a gradient from white to transparent. I'll see if they fix it in future. I know you are upset about the index colours feature. I've never used it so I don't understand how bad the new version is.GIMP 3.0+ is ass. 2 and earlier is much better.
And to think all of that insanity started with "Tumblr" mental illness around a decade ago. Then it broke containment.Everyone is too woke and has shit for brains.
It started a lot earlier with the Frankfurt School and others before thatAnd to think all of that insanity started with "Tumblr" mental illness around a decade ago. Then it broke containment.
Yeah, but it didn't really take off until SJWs became a thing in the early '10s.It started a lot earlier with the Frankfurt School and others before that
I have a really minimal version of that. I can cope with a glass side panel. It's actually pretty solid. Every side glass? Blow me. And I have exactly one RGBshit component and that's a pretty mild video card. It at least lets me know whether the system is sleeping or not.The first is the trend of having glass side panels, which have also include glass front panels and even top glass:
I still use a beige Antec full tower for my gaming PC. Every free spot is filled with fans, it cools fine.Honestly if I could get a PC case that looks like something from the 90s or the early 2000s, I would have gotten it.
I went out of my way to look for a PC case that did not have any transparent sides at all.
