Do you know what the janny drama is all about?
I have my own personal beef with Castaway since I was one of the 20 or so players that got purged from Castaway EU. There was a guy called Juliana that played (and still does play) on Castaway EU. A large amount of the EU regulars hated Juliana, since all he did was larp about how anti-woke we were in-game and in the group chat. To remove this faggot, a couple of players made it their mission to never let this guy join ever by constantly kicking him. I was not involved with this, but I watched from the sidelines because I also found that guy annoying. Eventually, random and Gabber picked up on this and decided to remove votekicks for all players. However, they soon brought it back with the slight difference that now, they could: 1. Remove a specific person's votekicking rights and 2. See who wanted to start votekicks.
Gabber, in his finite wit and intellect, decided that instead of telling one guy to punch sand, decided to gag a good chunk of the EU regulars in the server, ban them from the Steam Group, or both. Despite not participating in this votekicking debacle, I, as well as a bunch of other people, were kicked from the Steam Group for no reason. And since the people that were gagged were also the ones that were the most active on VC, Castaway EU became infinitely more boring, leading to EU committing suicide. Now, in his defence, Gabber was unanimously hated by EU (hatred for ecelebs, even leading to his getting kicked at least 3 times ROFLMAO), but to essentially kill EU over one guy is still idiotic, no matter how you stretch it.
As for drama relating to jannies specifically, my main gripe with them is that they have a lot of influence regarding reverts. Why? It's because they couldn't be bothered to make a channel in the Steam Group to discuss reverts, or a Google form for people to vote on or something. Instead, they decided to tuck all of the decisions regarding reverts in the Discussions page, which no one used except for Gabber, random, and the jannies. They also chose the most downtrodden people to become jannies. Furfags, retards, degenerates, you name it. At least there wasn't any powertripping for the time that I was there.
The most damaging person from Castaway has to be Protons. He is the one that started the "revert everything" mentality. And I do mean everything. "This weapon change was in the game for approximately 2 days because it was a bug by Valve. We MUST revert it immediately because muh Robin Walker's vision". He's that braindead. Hence why the weapon balance is nonexistent, since some weapons are more overpowered than others, effectively overshadowing everything else.
