I think why people cling to TF2 is cause of this experience. There are no dedicated servers, no communities, no casual hangouts, no "you need to be clocked in to be part of the community, but don't need to tryhard, die, wait for the next round" etc. You could be 1:1 in TF2 and do well, yet also achieve 19:1.

The other day I was looking around on Twitter and found this rather in-depth thread attempting to assert that this leak is bullshit, and it pulls up a bunch of contradictions from the lore/comics themselves to try and prove so.

I was going to ask that. Are these people seriously analyzing a comic set in a universe where a baby was raised by eagles, robots run on literal cash, Australians are all mustachio'd supermen who can explode yetis with a single punch, and wheat can gain sentience?

I understand we're all on the internet and therefore are clearly devoid of anything better to do, but... for fuck's sake, pick your fucking battles there, man.

In regards to TF2 Engi working for Mann Co, he never worked for Mann Co before the MvM campaign started. Before that he was working for Blutarch Mann, who was unaffiliated (since Zepheniah Mann bequeathed Mann Co to his assistant Barnabus Hale, ancestor of Saxton Hale).
What a lorelet.
