So what are everyone's predictions for the upcoming movie? I'm a betting man and I wanna say that AB/CP's relationship drama will eclipse whatever interest and ideas Tamers has put in for the zombie part of the movie just like the previous movie. Like 10-15 minutes of zombie ponies tops and then the remainder is gay melodrama for 50 minutes.

I haven't had a chance to see the previous MLP video live and only watched it yesterday, and ngl, it was funny. But marionette is soooooooo forced, holy smokes.

calling it now it is going to be dogshit. reminds me when Mark Latour tells the gas station clerk if he has a father (the clerk had two fathers). Then Mark told him, to ask one of his dads to stop acting gay. That is what I feel with the other Tamers.

well, that fucking sucked. Once again we got off to a decent start, just for gay melodrama to not just fuck up the pacing of the episode, it was the rest of the episode. NGL I enjoyed the end credits scene with all the humans, it felt inspired.
In light of all of the past jokes about ponies being black or darker colored, Tamers has now introduced a vantablack niggercoal OC that is arguably the most annoying TTS voice that he has ever used.

Oh my gosh I was groaning throughout every drawn out monologue. I agree that the outro with the human designs was cool. The bad tts Russian accent pony cracked me up, at times he sounded French, but that may be just my bad accent detection.

Some more notes on my experience. I laughed when I saw the British pony dressed as Valentino from Hazbin Hotel. It confirmed to me my suspiscion that Tamers watched that shitshow. Also I love how the most hypersexual and annoying character is now a they/them just as they/thems tend to be in Internet spaces/in real life. Is this a Tamers deepcut?
Overall it was a bad episode. I was not excited for it, and I haven't been excited for new episodes for a while, but I remain curious as to how low the writing quality will go before even the pony fans notice.

I thought he was actually voice-acted (very crappily I thought might I add) when this thing came along, but now that you say it, I can't unhear it- all the little quirks and nuances of his voice. I thought it was voice-acted cause like Grackler said it kept switching between accents and I thought it was some random Discord dick who Tamers or the community had managed to barf up and shove into an episode.

Worst thing Tamers has ever made, period. Barely any fighting, just gay melodrama and long monologues. Talk about an hour of my life I’ll never get back. I too thought the Russian cat and gay black pony’s voices sounded like real voice acting at times but Tamers said in the chat that they were both TTS.

They are noticing. Take a look at /mlp/.

It’s so bad that he lost his biggest dick rider, Hugh Mungous.

At least I’ve got something to lighten the mood:

Let's make good on my namesake.

This movie was for lack of a better term- asspulls. Asspulls for every major event. Not the usual funny Tamers way of doing asspulls where someone pulls out a gun or a Bomb Pop. Cheap fanfiction-y asspulls that try and raise the stakes or make the viewer feel like 'whew that was close!' when it wasn't. The spell ending in 48 hours? Nope, it's able to end early because our favorite gay ponies kissed and it breaks the 'no magic' clause. Apple Bottom being able to control the mindless infected husks? That wasn't brought up in the last Infection movie, and it's never explored or discussed beforehand beyond a 'oh yeah isn't Arinos part of Apple Bottom what if he could do that'. No guarantee it'd work, no prior ideas, tests, just straight to success. Soarin being able to resist mind control because of some bullshit on how Arinos works for some reason in a way that's not clever, never previously established, it's just cheap and it gives the protagonists a way to save the day and stall out long enough. Clean Sweep sparing Big Mac because he's 'interesting'? We shoulda seen this coming, Big Mac was gay/hinted at being gay, he'd find someone. But come on the supposed 'villain who wants to burn down the world' suddenly becomes infatuated and steals Big Mac's heart over the course of less than 48 hours? I get it's Tamers world but given how Tamers wants to do more 'realistic' shit, it's only fair to criticize this for what it is. Cheap fanservice to whip up the yaoifaggots.

Then there's the fetish material. So much of it. So goddamn frequent. Thankfully we didn't have the cringy musicals like we had for the first movie, but we instead get so much more 'casual' fetish material. The strip club and the obvious inspiration from Hazbin Hotel on Care Package's 'pimp' design. Arinos flashing the camera his groin at around 18 minutes in, that fucking caught my eye like a bullet to the head. Braeburn and Apple Bottom at the church with fully detailed sweaty feet is something I wish I could say was only present in /mlp/ fanfiction, not an actual Tamers episode. Then the scene where Apple Bottom gets vored by a Weird Little Bitch, do not fucking tell me that isn't meant to be sexualized. I want to say the entire scene where they're pissing could be taken as fetishy but that's a Tamers staple- but it does branch into something I've noticed so much over these last few episodes. The 'humanization' of the ponies. I don't know what the fuck is going on in Tamers head or what, but the ponies noticeably seem to be getting more and more humanoid as time goes on. The ponies seem to be standing up on two legs more and more, they seem to have more Human conventions- like pants- which make no sense in MLP where everyone is buck-fucking-naked unless of course the concept of (in)decency also comes along.

This whole movie was a pain-in-the-ass to sit through despite being less than an hour or even 50 minutes if we don't count the post-climax scenes. It fundamentally changed nothing about the relationships of characters or how characters think about the world. Big Mac is still gay- we all fucking knew that. The Hazbin Hotel ponies still act like Hazbin Hotel ponies. Soarin and Braeburn are the closest thing to character development, but I wouldn't call putting a ring on Soarin a sign of proper character growth. Braeburn and Soarin were still together before, they still liked one another, they were still the more 'mature' half of the gay melodramatic ponies. The wedding ring changes nothing. Clean Sweep, Arinos, the Big Weird Bitch all of them are just flat as cardboard and as interesting as it.

There was maybe 2 jokes that made me snort, the action was bland and low-stakes, the best characters were Derpy's cripple friend, King Sombra, and Applejack, blatant fetish material and yaoifagging for a solid 60 minutes. I paid nothing to see this, and I feel like I'm owed compensation for it. What the fuck have they done to you Tamers?

Sleet and Dingo, Knuckles and Sonia, hell even Cyrus and Trevor all at least feel like they enjoy just spending time with each other.
Tamer's Sonic Underground was a better soap opera than any I had watched before it. How we like it has all the charm of the youth culture of today, something that this fanclub relates to. That is something that is almost always lost as the production and writing is no longer by one man unbridled by expectations or convention.

Yeah that was one of the things that attracted me towards Tamers in the first place. Mixing characters from completely different franchises was always a cringe concept (see: Pooh’s Adventures) but Tamers did/does it in such a way that makes it so funny and well made.
I think what made it enjoyable is that Tamer's disregarded the character's personality entirely and gave them a new persona. It might have been cringe if Tamer's had tried to represent the character as themselves. The characters of his SU are derivative original creations, if that makes any sense. This new characterization is very effective in the genre, because Tamers makes the characters relatable rather than exogenous.

The characters of the pop culture Tamers took from was almost just the aesthetic. It acts as an effective hook, I'll say. I wouldn't be commending the quality of Tamer's SU if I hadn't had been drawn in by it, by badly drawn sonic and the sonic-like.
Later I watched Sonic Underground, and besides from a tidbit of the show's lore and music, Tamer's SU is entirely unrelated to the show.

(This repurposing of an aesthetic I've seen numerous times. Tasty Cools is animated series made in Garry's Mod using characters of Left 4 Dead in the same way that Tamer's re-characterised Sonic Underground's characters. I'm sure you could think of other examples.)

I laughed when I saw the British pony dressed as Valentino from Hazbin Hotel. It confirmed to me my suspiscion that Tamers watched that shitshow
Aww. You're so right. So that's where the odor got in from. Terrible shame. Much too terrible to bare.

2.5/10. More of the same, only somehow worse. I guess Tamers has given up on comedy, but at least he's making money from a dying fandom with excess disposable income, which I think he's earned for making years of content for free. I've had TV shows I love last for less time than he was kicking. My only hope is that he doesn't get audience captured, and he only does what he wants to creatively while he can live off it.

I fear Tamers may already be in the audiences embrace and doesn't know it yet. The brony fandom seems to be like an anglerfish. Pretty colors, big money, and then WHAM. Next thing we see is Tamers polluting his work with shitty pony AMVs and Hazbin Hotel-esque humor and art.
