Poor baby. How about I get you the gift of a job application, Satsuki?

Oh so sad. :'( I'm not getting anything for Christmas or my birthday most likely. You don't see me begging people to buy me gifts. Besides, I'd much rather have money to pay rent and utilities or for people to buy gifts for my kid than for myself.

If she's THAT bad off she wouldn't beg for gifts. She'd beg for money so she's not sitting in the fucking dark.

Also, she could always sell some shit. I did that this month to help pay rent. It's really not that hard and it was shit I wasn't even using. You won't get rich, but fuck it's money.

I haven't gotten a birthday present in years, save for these glass bones and this paper skin. Don't h8, just don8.

That's exactly what tells me that their situation isn't as dire as Sats makes it out to be, unless she's legit stunted enough to prioritize birthday presents over keeping a roof over her head.
You have to pass up the shiny thing to pay your rent and have grocery money? Welcome to being an adult.

It's not even like she's gotta work full time and break her back to help out. Just getting a part time gig and bringing home a couple hundred bucks a month to give her mom a safety net would probably be enough for her family.
You could even have - wait for it - leftover money for pony toys!!! Amazing!!

(edited because I'm a typoking)

'Don't h8, just don8'
That is amazing. It will forever in my mind be Tumblr's slogan.

As for Sats, she needs a serious wake up call. Begging for birthday presents? Really?
Is it a generation thing? I could never imagine begging for money and presents from strangers. My parents taught me to have pride in my work and to earn my money. Was the Tumblr generation not taught those values?

My guess is because the internet is so accessible and people can hide behind their screens. That makes it so much easier to make up a sob story to sucker people in since it doesn't involve meeting face to face.

Almost certainly the latter. Mostly he's moved off to sperg on KYM, of all places. But it's only a matter of time before he slinks back to Tumblr when he thinks we've lost interest and starts up his shit again. I mean, we can HOPE he's got a modicum of self-awareness and would stop doing what made him a laughingstock/target.

But probably not.

I'm still going to hope that maybe he learned something the same way I did. It's not a pleasant process to learn things the hard way, but it's better than to keep making mistakes. I did try to talk to him a bit about ignoring the SJ crowd, because they really are just dumbass kids that are going to end up learning from their own mistakes eventually (to be honest, it looks like many of them already are, because they're facing more and more backlash from the general public. If they're not learning, they're at least feeling rightfully alienated, and may begin to examine why they are being ostracized). He's really not a bad person. I don't think most of them are "bad" people (this goes for tumblrinas alike). I think they're just human, and falling into familiar human trappings. It's what humans do, especially when they want people to like them, or they want to feel like something greater than they are.

I get what you're saying, but isn't he a bit too old to rage about cartoons of all things?
I mean it's okay to watch and like whatever you want, I really don't care but if he chose to do some armchair activism I'm sure he could find something else that might require a little bit more responsibility on his part when he opens his mouth. He doesn't really want to do it, it's just some kind of narcissism/savior complex on his part.
I'm just trying to say that his motives currently point no further than attention seeking, so he has yet to prove that he's actually a genuinely good person.

I think a lot of people on tumblr (Takashi included) just want to enjoy things in peace without being called everything under the sun for it, or see the same happen to their friends. His behavior wouldn't exist if a certain faction on tumblr hadn't started being raging assholes to everyone out of nowhere in the first place. Franikly, I wonder if the reason SJW shit started is BECAUSE tumblr was originally pretty chill and accepting. If everyone is seen as equal, no one "stands out" anymore. So, people look for reasons to feel "special" in all the wrong places, including trying to put others beneath them.

And honestly, he still has plenty to say on SJ in general, but he refrains from doing so. Reblogging it from people he agrees with isn't exactly ignoring it. Ignoring it would be adding that shit to his blacklist (if he even has one) and making sure to go out of his way to avoid it and the people involved.

As much as i dislike bronies (for personal reasons) and furries (again, personal reasons) there's plenty of them out there who blog on just fine about whatever the fuck it is they do, or fandom they are into - Rob doesn't do that. He doesn't comment on the SJ stuff anymore, but it's almost like he has to keep reblogging it to show he still cares. It's always been nothing but virtue signaling from him. He's just learned to stop writing checks with his fingertips that he can't cash when called on the carpet for it.

And blackballing people who he once considered allies and friends for the sole act of speaking up or speaking out against him, or hell just trying to talk sense into him. Some even just trying to show him that his actions and words have real fucking consequences - THAT SHIT is one of the reasons he's going to keep getting ridiculed. It's fucking sad as hell when friends try to talk sense to someone they look up to, and end up resorting to coming to the Farms and participating just to point out how wrong their friend's behavior has been. It's almost like Rob doesn't want to face any form of criticism that isn't patting him on the ass and reassuring him that he's a good person.

I'm sure deep down he's another of those heart of gold chaps, one of those diamonds in the rought types - but he'll never shape the fuck up if he blocks out and makes an enemy of people who get so desperate to get through to him that they end up enlisting a bunch of assholes because that's literally the only option left.

Rob is a fanatical anti who throws SJW tantrums and shields the ones who can get him asspats, like Veronica, and a few others that, due to a promise I won't name. But if you were in the Skype chats, you'd know exactly who I'm talking about. just because we don't see them anymore doesn't mean they don't happen.

The only thing, and I mean the only fucking thing that could possibly save him now is if he deleted his tumblr and just left the site. Ideally forever, because honestly it brings out the absolute worst in everyone the longer they use it. Like some sort of horcrux or One Ring. But come on, it's fucking Rob and he doesn't listen to anybody who has any real common sense. So he'd end up going back. But he needs to just stay away from Tumblr for like a year, maybe two. Grow the fuck up because he's just an overgrown child with a keyboard. Maybe if he actually left Tumblr, and I'm talking full scale deletion. Nuke the whole fucking account so the temptation to go back is completely removed. Only then will the white pony knight actually be able to fucking chill out, be an adult who happens to enjoy kids shows, get a real fucking life for a change, and stop yelling at children on the internet as if he's some sort of mission from God.

His behavior wouldn't exist if a certain faction on tumblr hadn't started being raging assholes to everyone out of nowhere in the first place.

No, Tena. When he replied to the very first hateful SJW whatever post it was that made him want to fight back - he made a choice. He could have ignored it. He could have blacklisted it. He could have just gone "well, that's some pretty awful hate going on there. Think I'll just unfollow/block/ignore/blacklist that."

Rob made his choice, and now he's got to deal with the consequences and repercussions of that choice. He's a big boy, with his big boy pants and everything. Don't excuse his shitty behavior and blame it on other people.

Taka follows some blogs whose sole purpose is to reply and reeee to every single stupid sjw post they see, even the most hidden, untagged ones. Of course he will get jaded if he follows and reblogs from those blogs when he could...not do that

When I'm not on a mobile device (can't use the instant messenger from here), I'll try to convince him to unfollow such blogs. Since I know I'm unfortunately partly to blame, if he really looks to me as some kind of mentor, I can only hope that maybe he'll take my suggestion to heart.

I checked his blog and mostly is people complaining about the stupid shit other people said with some fanart sprinkled in. It makes him look like those people who are never happy and are just draining and toxic. He really needs to ignore it and unfollow those blogs.

Honestly, he just needs to nuke and start over. Avoid anything that involves SJWs and Antis and just follow more "positive" bloggers. The ones who just do art, some fun blogs that post funny animal gifs or something because all that negativity is not good. A little bit of :powerlevel: but that's how it was for me. I usually go out of my way to find bullshit but it was making me unhappy constantly because of how much it would pop up on my dash. Constantly scrolling through all that crap isn't good for you mentally or even physically. Once you either unfollow all that crap or just nuke and start over I swear it gets better.

I have unfollowed people for the same reason. Even if they mean good and think their cause is good, constantly picking fights, being angry and replying to every post you disagree with it makes you a very draining person.

People like that are the kind of person who hate themselves and cannot be happy.
