Great. Now I feel partially responsible for all of this mess. I didn't want this. I didn't want to be anyone's anything. I didn't expect anyone to give a fuck what I said, and I sure as hell didn't want anyone looking to me as a mentor and thinking they needed to follow in my mistakes. I just wanted people to stop being dicks to each other over stupid shit so that tumblr could go back to being like it used to.

And honestly, everything blogging and social media related turns to shit eventually. it's pointless to try and fight it. besides, tumblr is what you make of it - if you seen nothing but people being dicks to each other, it's your own fucking fault for following those dicks in the first place.

Hey, to be fair, I had no idea a lot of them would turn out to be dicks (like dragondicks, for example). That behavior didn't manifest itself right away, and other things may have gone unnoticed due to the fact that I follow a metric fuckton of horror and classic hot rod blogs (you wouldn't think there'd be a lot of car blogs on tumblr, but I manage to find a new one every other day).

I partly actually agree on resisting on the "they" issue. But style manuals for a lot of major periodicals have given in and so have I. "They" is a completely okay pronoun in the singular for gender-indeterminate objects.

Yeah, I don't much care for the "they" pronouns much either, I just think it's all kinds of lulzy how NO ONE takes CK seriously anymore, not even her own side.

I am very mercenary on my opinions on borderline cases of grammar.

It's pretty much "are you paying me?" If the answer is "yes" I do whatever you want.

Going for the gender neutral pronouns is definitely where the money is these days.
 
So confession time, I used to be an avid follower of takashi0. Hell I think we were mutuals for some time. However I missed his downward spiral since I had to leave tumblr for a time due to real life. So I (thankfully) missed his downward spiral. That being said I really wish I knew he was a shitty person before following him.

I really gotta say Taka should get a hobby and take a long break from tumblr. Leaving tumblr (or cutting down on using it) really helped me. I don't think he will, but I can hope at least.

On another note, I thought Taka was like 15 years old when I first followed him. Since I always thought he acted kinda childish. Surprised me to learn he was actually 23.
 
I just realized something.

Taka had blocked me on tumblr for awhile now, probably.... 2-3 years now? I knew this because each time i liked one post from him that i did agree with, the like would just magically disappear. This was before i realized how batshit Taka was. I never spoken to him before, unless it was around the time i was running a confession blog about ponies in the art community and then a confession must've made him salty and blocked me silently as well as a few others.
