I played shadowrun once, cool system but the book is an absolute clusterfuck. It is one of those systems where I wouldn't play as a GM but would as a player.

Shadowrun is one of the games that is big enough to have a bunch of player aids both of the bot and cheat sheet nature. I remember Chummer making the game a good deal smoother, but there are plenty of other options to limit the GM workload.

As for Tabletop Trannies I've definitely run into a few mostly in play by post, but I don't really have interesting stories to share. They where mostly either normal enough that the game went normally or the game just died quickly due to lack of activity. I remember playing with someone who identified as nonbinary but played a male character. Some of the lefties in the game seemed to have been walking on eggshells to try not screwing up the pronouns, which was kind of fun to watch ("He did X" "Uh you mean 'they'" etc) but the player didn't really make a big deal about it and I probably wouldn't have noticed if the other people in the room weren't spergs about it lol. I can only remember one or two trans characters and they where all by cis people, and I only remember one because I stole the girl they liked. Trannies don't really have a reason to play trannies unless they're making blatant self inserts, which is already the cringiest thing you can possibly do.

Interesting, the trannies I played with mostly wanted to play "uwu trappy femboy", female or "androgynous" (although with some really feminine traits) characters. The only guy who ever played a trans character was this cis guy who started going crazy over the idea of playing a FTM char.
Granted the trannies did not last long in our groups, two of them were just awful people in general, picking on and harassing players in and out of the game over shit they instigated. Both managed to piss everyone off with their sperging and burn any godwill they had. There is a third one who still plays with them but he did not come out as a tranny until way after he began playing with us, this guy was the most frustrating of all and part of the reason I stopped playing with my group: while the first two were told to fuck off, this one was enabled nonstop and most were afraid to tell him "no" due to CURRENT YEAR fears of being cancelled or seen as transphobic. His problems mainly happened outside the game, worst he did was attend sessions but refuse to play since the DM did not want to kick players to please him and/or he failed to harass people out of the game.
Now that i think about it their problems weren't being transexual, all three of them were simply assholes, assholes that people are too afraid to try and put a stop to their bs.

That seems to be a common pattern. The issue isn't their trans-ness or what have you. It's that they're just jackasses and they're desperately trying to plaster over that glaring flaw with 'I am a marginalized minority, pity me, uwu'.

That seems to be the usual issue with assholes. They have no redeemable personality traits, so they just hide behind whatever label they're championing that week.

Always wanted to try Cyberpunk 2020 tabletop game. I just finished the video game and I had a genuinely good time with it. Over 70 hours in game. I just wannna know the basics of what I should get to play it. I know you only need one book to play it, but is there any cool themed screens for the GM? Also cyberpunk themed dice and miniatures?

Pretty much. I feel saddened by the third one I mentioned, because he could be a genuinely decent person when he tried and was a fun roleplayer on top. Dude was diagnosed with the tism, so it took several people shunning him for him to stop being a jackass. Once he went down the non binary hole, he got validation, pity and asspats nonstop so there was no need for him to try to be a decent person. He would whine all day too (about his parents, people on the net, people in our group) and I think going NEET just accelerated his idiocy.

There was also another guy in the group, a DM who had some story with him, they were friends for a long time, had a falling out then befriended each other again, but right after the other dude trooned out he became overly attached to him, they were constantly watching each other's backs all the time and it was REALLY FUCKING CREEPY and eventually the DM became a huge cunt: It wasn't enough for him to keep me out of his games, he bullied and manipulated other DMa into not letting me join.
For a long time I blamed the tranny poisoning the well but who the fuck knows, all it takes is one friend, classmate or coworker to push someone into idpol insanity. A shame, he ended up pushing good players away.
Typing out all of this made me think on how I haven't had to deal with constant drama in my games in nearly a year. Getting kicked from that group and making a new one with the people who aren't massive hysteric douchebags was the best thing to have happened to me, the closest thing I have had to deal with was a player making a snide remark about another character getting too much stuff but that was it, no crying, no having a dm or player try to mediate so the group won't implode, we just reunite each week to play and have fun.

Sidenote: I also found out not all transexuals are insuferable hysterical cunts who will try to ruin your life over an argument. Guess I have the transtrender stereotype deeply ingrained in my mind since those are mostly who I had to deal with.

I didn’t notice a screen as part of the humble bundle. I did find some minis here. I also found some cyberpunk battle mats here. And in this link I just searched cyberpunk. *Edit* I also found some dice here. Also the humble bundle does includes a dm screen but you have to print it out :/ .

Cyberpunk is rough. "Get unlucky and take a bullet to the head and you're dead" rough. If you're attached to your character, be sure to buy a helmet.

Always glad to help. I collect every RPG I find as I believe someone has to lest they be lost to history.
Same! I have a collection of older physical rpg books as well as a bunch of PDFs. I haven’t printed out nearly as many as I’ve wante but I intend to eventually.

I'll be doing that once my family moves and I have the room.

Currently playing DnD via R20... my character is a pure close combat fighter and we fight a floating enemy that has never gone further down than 20feet. So yeah. I've been standing around doing nothing for a fight that has lasted about 2 hours by now.

On a sidenote: I have a cursed weapon, when I try to use another weapon, I get disadvantage on the attack throw, so it's not like I can just grab a ranged weapon and let loose with a crossbow or anything.

That's when you get a bow or a wand so you're able to do something. Hell, throw rocks.
