I mean, if that's your cup of tea then it's great and from what I saw really well done. I just find the entire concept of the whole "fighter, cleric, and thief make their way through trapped dungeon, stab goblins, steal their money, repeat" deal-y dull, but I'm certainly not going to disparage anyone who enjoys that.
I will, however, disparage RPG Pundit for being incapable of accepting that people like different things, and that it's OK for people to like things he doesn't like, and it's OK for people to not like things he likes, and that the existence of more narrative-based RPGs doesn't mean that classic dungeon crawl RPGs aren't allowed to exist. It's not a zero-sum situation.
EDIT: I'm a retard and thought you said "was good". Point still stands, I can totally see the appeal for a certain type of gamer. The GM and the other players seemed to be really enjoying it. But for me, it's dull as shit. I also question why someone would choose to play it instead of, say, Pathfinder, or even D&D 1e or 2e. I'm glad this option is available to people who like this kind of thing, but I'm also sure as shit glad the market has expanded to give me my more narrative-focused games with an emphasis on the characters changing as people (or changing as vampires, or ghosts, or whatever).
