If you happen to be playing DnD 5e on Roll 20 and are thinking about switching to the 2024 sheet/rules maybe don't. I think it took me about 4 hours to port over my 11 wizard and get the sheet actually functioning and there are still several bugs I couldn't figure out well enough to get around. Spellcasters seem especially broken. DM doesn't want to change to my Foundry server or buy/host it himself though so here we are.

Semi-related why do they only let retards design the spell Contagion.
Contagion
PHB'24
p256
Level 5 Necromancy
Casting Time: Action
Range: Touch
Components: V, S
Duration: 7 days
Your touch inflicts a magical contagion. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or take 11d8 Necrotic damage and have the Poisoned condition. Also, choose one ability when you cast the spell. While Poisoned, the target has Disadvantage on saving throws made with the chosen ability.

The target must repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns until it gets three successes or failures. If the target succeeds on three of these saves, the spell ends on the target. If the target fails three of the saves, the spell lasts for 7 days on it.

Whenever the Poisoned target receives an effect that would end the Poisoned condition, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw, or the Poisoned condition doesn't end on it.
Original 2014 the spell did almost fucking nothing for your spell slot, they made a completely different errata version where you made a melee spell attack and they were poisoned (no save) but could save out and now 2024 if someone fails the initial save you give them poisoned and disadvantage on con saves and then watch them fail all the saves against it so they are wrecked for seven days.

The problem is Contagion is one of those classic spells that is really more for being an evil wizard doing evil things to people, not a combat spell, or even a spell you expect players to use, but 5e has no real place for combat spells or spells that are primarily for evil wizards to be evil with.

Definitely strange to retain when to the best of my knowledge, there are no spell casting monsters anymore.

There are lots, basically everything spellcaster flavored gets a block that says something like "drow mage casts spells as an X level sorcerer spellcasting DC Y this is the suggested spell list" although they did make a move to stop including "casts dimension door 3/day as a spell-like ability" on things like demons because they don't want to expect DMs to memorize or have to look up things like that when they can just write an ability line about the monster being able to teleport 500 ft as an action instead

Fixed your post for you.
Yeah sometimes you can't choose your friends and/or GMs, funny part is that it's actually Rise of the Runelords so it really shouldn't be 5e (or Roll 20 for that matter) to begin with.

Question, are these worth owning?

There's pushing back on DEI and then there's going full Saudi.

Yeah. Of all the settings to go "female character in cover, immediately discarded", Homeworld sure is a weird one. Yeah, Homeworld 3 was ass, but Karan (HW1 and HW1) and Rachel (DoK) S'jet are perfectly fine flagship characters.

So read it and prove me wrong, but "Made after 2015 and Only female(s) on the cover = Woke Soyshit" has yet to fail me.

I just skimmed the PDF and it actually looks decent. For instance, I couldn't find anything about "Safety Tools" like Lines & Veils, X Card, etc. that I basically have to assume are in any modern game and doesn't even register to me as wokeshit anymore.

Yeah, the biggest problem seems to be that the system is just "okay" at most things it tries to do.

But it's not like the Homeworld universe is a setting with huge high-flying anime-style fights so even a clunky combat system can work there.

Not to shit on your joke, but there is a saurian and I specified post-2015.
T-that saurian is female. :((((((
But yeah i understand your point about the degeneration of fantasy. İ dislike how it happens. Hope we will see adventurers in a wheelchair!

Nope. Lizard tits or gtfo.

4e had the right idea and they were fools to cave on that.
4e is way ahead of its time. they could have continued from that even though that type of games are not my type of games i can see how well done it was. if only they were not prioritizing shilling for hasbro and focused more on other rp stuff...

I've heard 13th Age continues a lot of the same ideas and does it well.
