I just hope they do a good job and the books come out faster. So has anyone heard that Paradox Interactive is buying the White Wolf Properties? I heard it on twitter and it seemed to be a done deal but not quite official or worked out yet. I like Paradox games a lot, but I'm a little worried what this means for the tabletop though I guess whatever they do couldn't be any worse than what Onyx has done.
I just don't want another new edition is my worry. And them not being faithful to the core concepts of WoD.

Recently picked up Ultimate Wilderness for Pathfinder and agreed with many people online that it was a poorly designed book. So bad in fact that Paizo put up a review embargo on their site and banned all discussion of it until the hard copies hit shelves yesterday so they could get more sales in before information got out about how much of a steaming pile it was. They even locked the books discussion page over the weekend and maintaining a moderator to watch over it as well delete a large amount of posts. I don't think I've ever seen that for a Paizo book before.
I decided to do some research as to why this was by looking into everyone who worked on the book. It should come to as no surprise Paizo now has 50% of their staff that works on their books being woman (one of which at least is trans with a history of attacking lesbians online). Two of the women seem to have an actual interest in RPG's, while the rest are doing what the majority of SJW's and Feminists do and use a popular medium to spew their garbage to fans.
Before you may have had one or two such people working on a book and wouldn't interfere with a book, certainly never a more expensive hardcover, but that is not the case this time.
The Shifter class is broken. Age/ weight/ height for the three races were forgotten. Archtypes are either useless, broken, or more powerful than the shifter class itself. Feats are worthless as they're all situational abilities or interfere with official rules. Spells aren't useful. There are a whole 10 pages worth of equipment and magical items.
The only chapters worth looking over is the chapter on wilderness survival/ traps and the chapter on animal companions and familiars. Both of which I would have rather just bought smaller splat books for. (The original one for animal companions and familiars was pretty lacking)
with that being the case could secret gamer girl show up on Paizo in the future? a fellow sjw might let him in
Well they have a woman who's only worked on one RPG book and is currently running organized play for both Pathfinder and Starfinder so anything is possible since you no longer need to know jack about RPG's to work there.
Makes me want to get into Dungeons and Dragons 5th Edition with the way their hardcovers are getting.
kay, thanks for that info. Shame it had to happen to one of the things that got me back into rpg gaming after my interest in 4th edition waned.
I mean bringing in people who know nothing about gaming but want to learn and improve it is fine but just using it for agenda pushing is pretty scummy on a personal level to me.
There was two women who legitimately enjoy RPG's from what I seen. One is currently worried about FCC fucking around with net neutrality and the other is the art director. The rest of the women are just using the Paizo name like any other SJW/ Feminist, to spew their tripe to fans. Similar to what you see now with Magic the Gathering.
Luckily 3pp stuff is still really good for Pathfinder.
It makes me long for women creators like Margret Weis (one of the creators of Dragonlance) who honestly cared about the industry.kay, thanks for that info. Shame it had to happen to one of the things that got me back into rpg gaming after my interest in 4th edition waned.

Some still do, but you really have to dig to find them. Tabletop gaming today is seen as a way to push political agenda down peoples throats whether or not they want to listen. Just look at Magic the Gathering and Warhammer. Or some lesser known RPG's like All Flesh Must Be Eaten.
All Flesh Must Be Eaten as well? What are the SJWs doing to that one?
Speaking of social justice, I was reading Charnel Houses of Europe: The Shoah and I couldn't help feeling angry, but for a different reason than one would think. That all the people who throw around the term "Nazi" don't know shit about what real Nazis are about and the horrors they and the camps can commit. And this book doesn't pull punches. (I'm a major league Wraith: The Oblivion fan.)
I think you might like Charnel Houses then, because not all the Jews in the stories are saints. It's either one of your favorite World of Darkness books and respect them for handling such a risky subject or it's one of your least favorites and you think using the subject matter is poor in taste.Even those that do don't realize that not all of the soldiers or even generals really believed in the Nazi ideals, they wanted to protect their country from both perceived (Britain) and possible threats (Russia).
It's something I like in my games where people start to question just how many people in the evil bosses army/ faction are actually evil. It throws a huge moral wrench into the game allowing for more roleplaying.
