In the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
Plaintiff Sydney Watson alleges that her multimillion dollar youtube career was derailed due to the actions of Blaze Media, founded by Conservative firebrand Glenn Beck, after a dramatic falling out with her co-host Elijah Schaffer. A relationship that became unworkable following the "Cuck Article" superchat by the internet legend MisterDickNballs. (Onion Link to that article here) all links are TOR onion links. get gud.
Its never not funny to post this clip, and I am absolutely overjoyed that I get to do it again here at the start of another thread.
This event, while not the first issue between the two conservative stars was apparently the end of the line for Watson, and soon thereafter the "You are Here" podcast was cancelled with no explanation. On February 8th, 2023, Watson filed suit against Blaze Media, alleging workplace sexual and religious discrimination in violation of Title VII of the U.S. Code.
THE PARTIES
Sydney Watson

Sydney Watson is a conservative youtuber from Australia who made a name for herself by being a girl on the internet who actually likes the chuds. That's about it really. Up until this year she was a talent with Blaze Media in the same vein as Brett Cooper over at the Daily Wire. She now runs a youtube channel independently found here.
Blaze Media

Blaze Media is a Texas Based limited liability corporation founded by its current CEO Glenn Beck. On top of Sydney Watson and Elijah Schaffer, the company is also known for having presently or formerly other stars such as Steven Crowder, David Levin and Dave Rubin.
Elijah Schaffer

While not a named defendant, Schaffer is definitely a causal agent in this. He was Sydney's cohost and the bulk of the complaint centers around him and the fans he cultivated. Schaffer is another conservatuber who makes frequent apperences on Tim Pool's show, as well as Nick Rekietas. His youtube channel can be found here.
Completely unrelated but something I find funny, just look at the view counts with Schaffer

And then compare it to Watsons.

THE ALLEGATIONS
In her complaint, Sydney Watson alleges that during her time at The Blaze, the corporation violated Title VII of the U.S. Code. Known to normies as "The Civil Rights Act of 1964". Specifically she alleges Sexual and Religious discrimination, perpetrated largely by her Co-host Elijah Schaffer, acting in an agent capacity by the corporation. That when the corporation was informed of Schaffer's behavior they did nothing, and then ultimately fired Watson, deciding that Schaffer was the star they wanted to advance, and given the choice between the two opted for him.
Watson Alleges that as the show became more popular, Schaffer became more aggressive towards her, and more demanding of introducing controversial guests such as Nick Fuentes and Jack Murphy despite her strenuous objections.

AND THE LAWSUIT GIVES US AN EPILOGUE TO THE SAGA OF MISTERDICKNBALLS!
Apparently Schaffer chased Jack Murphy off the set and two went out for drinks afterwards. When challenged by Watson as to why he didn't stick up for her during Jacks tirade, he stated it "was because she was a woman".

Schaffer would also routinely mock Watson's Atheism (which she is asserting constitutes the religious discrimination in the suit) and that despite her efforts to get management to tell him to lay off it, was rebuffed. They DID however promise to get Schaffer "To stop talking about dicks so much". On information and belief, Blaze Media made no effort to stop Schaffer from talking about dick.

Watson also alleges, on top of Schaffer acting like a man child throwing frequent tantrums and forcing her to do all the admin work of arranging the shows guests and subjects, he would also publicly disparage her on Twitter (Now known as X).

I actually went a checked this one out. Its real. and NOBODY HAD ARCHIVED THE TWEET. Not even Watson's lawyers. You are welcome everyone. I archived it.

For these and other reasons, Watson prays that the court grant her the relief of Judgement at trial, and the application of punitive damages in amounts to be proven at trial and under available statutory law.
RESPONSE
The Blaze didn't respond. Instead they attempted to get the case dismissed, citing Watson had signed a binding arbitration clause in her contract. The argument was a weighty tomb, running for 23 fucking pages, complete with appendixes, citations to case law and so on. A Very well written out brief. Lawyers spent alot of time on it, it would have gotten an A in any law school course requiring such a brief. Many billable hours were charged.
Five months later the judge ruled on the Brief with a short memorandum, that said, in perfectly condensed form "US Law does not allow for arbitration if a case arises from Title 7".

*golf clap*.
Well, It was a nice try by Becks lawyers I suppose, I am sure they got paid well for the effort and delaying the case for months so the judge could address this procedural issue.
But now they were on the clock! Time was ticking! The judge wanted a response, and she wanted that response on her desk in 14 days!
Which didn't happen of course. So the Judge sent a pissy letter telling Becks lawyers to get their homework in for half credit or fail the class.

That same day the response was filed. Was anything countered? Does Blaze Media and Elijah Schaffer have their own side to this story? Who knows, because I read the defense response and it was a boring line by line "Defendant denies the allegation and, this is a legal question, and if its not defendant denies it anyway". Nothing substantive at all. A paralegal could have written it, and probably did, considering how fast it came out following the Judges nastygram.
In response to the Show Cause order, Blaze Media's attorney admitted under oath that there was no malice. She was just retarded.

The case is now in the scheduling conference phase, but I would be remiss to not point out that the lawtubers have been sniffing around it. So you can check out some videos here about it.
