I mean, Sakurai specifically pointed out Kirby takes a lot of time when they add new characters in that one Direct they had.

Some loser trying to make a fake leak doxed himself through /v/ so I thought I'd document what happened here.

tl;dr he didn't know how anonymous imageboards worked and put his screen name in the name field. It was discovered he was a 22-year-old self-proclaimed intellectual known as Kyle Hainez who works at a Papa Johns in East Kilbride, Scotland and posted about his fantasies where he'd "punch the living shit out of [his] boss". They also found his profile on a gay dating website because he used the same handle everywhere (Kyl_0_rd).

It's interesting having my cartoonishly exaggerated perception of fake Smash leakers confirmed.

If they had real access to this material I'd expect to see a clear, high quality image, not some shit that was pasted together and blurred to disguise the fact that their fake art doesn't match up with the official pictures released so far. And why the fuck is "this blurry picture of the Grinch's back" some sort of retarded proof of authenticity?

/v/ did some digging on the guy, it seems he works/worked for a french company that makes promotional signs for events and that company has Namco-Bandai as a client.

I'm still going to take this leak with a grain of salt though, it's feels too good to be true.

To be fair some of the legit leaks we got for Smash 4 were also blurry as fuck.
 
Yeah, keep in mind that the ESRB leak was also blurry AF and people claimed it was fake because Shulk looked like Little Mac.

At this point we can only hope that a direct comes to confirm or deny this new leak.
