I think evidence Hax himself provided, when he showed the tweet of Leffen promoting Hax's video on ledge grabbing, proves this. It's a massive fucking reach to say that tweet in particular was meant to make him appear honest, and that he had a "reluctant tone" when saying it, or that every time he acts nice on camera it's all manipulative and meant specifically to put you under his thumb.

So no, I do think a lot of shit Hax said in that video was wrong, and is purely him being assmad. I'm sure some of the events he's talking about are accurate, but it wouldn't matter because he's already presented himself as a schizo who perceives everything Leffen does in the most deranged way possible.

I do think he's mad, and I think he has a right to be. You're not wrong, but Leffen did shift the tone of the "community" towards his favor in this past decade and it's honestly one of the reasons I quit giving a shit about following any of it.

I'm not sure if you even watched the doc, and if you didn't I can't blame you at all because it's two hours of bullshit you probably already heard about. But it goes far, far beyond Hax bringing up the ordinary complaints the community's had against Leffen for years.

* Hax claims Leffen has taken control over the entire Melee community through manipulation and subterfuge and is turning it into a dystopian society ala 1984.
* Hax uses multiple examples of Leffen being "evil" by citing forum posts when he was a teenager saying milquetoast edgy nonsense
* Hax claims the arguments he had with Leffen when he was 15 gave him post-traumatic stress disorder.
* Hax claims Leffen has a "Dark Triad" (a bumbling misuse of the term) and is objectively a psychopath, narcacist and a machiavellian
* Hax describes an incident where he chased Leffen around the hallways of a covention screaming at him when he was not responding and trying to get away.
* Hax goes into great detail about how Leffen tried to "ruin" his controller by saying he thinks L and R should be swapped, and how arguing on discord caused his friend to ragequit the Melee community
* Hax quotes David Icke and uses his concept of "Tip-Toe Totalitarianism" to describe Leffen.

I haven't even gotten through the whole thing, this is just the shit I remember.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to add that he's said:
* Blocking people on Twitter should be illegal.
* Not allowing people to mob you on Twitter is a manipulation tactic
* "Manipulating language" should be illegal
* Leffen should be in jail for being mean

I watched it, and it was hilariously insane, but he still wasn't wrong. He has issues with him that tons of people have, filtered through pure autism, and he shat it out into this video, some of which should have been left on the cutting floor. I get what people are critiquing, I just still know he's not wrong in the end. For instance, Leffen HAS grown to be one of the biggest "influencers" in Smash and that's where it becomes annoying and less fun to be a part of the whole thing. I get Hax intentions with the whole thing, but he fucked up by being a sperg and it's now a meme despite the fact that his overall goal and message are correct.

I can certainly see how a douchey influencer and their idiot fans can make a community more obnoxious to be in but if you're seriously going to argue to me that Leffen has taken over the entire community and turned it in a 1984-style dystopia with his dark triad manipulation powers and that it's appropriate to chase them down a hallway screaming like a ninny then I cannot help you and I won't entertain that shit.
 
So I assume Hax didn't get the reaction he was hoping for with his video. Where does that put him next, mentally? Does he say:

A) "I give up. I tried my hardest to warn the brainwashed masses, but they didn't listen."
or
B) "I need to get to work on making Evidence.zip 3, right now."

*Note: C) "Maybe I went a little too far in that video", is not an option.

1. / 2. Well he's clearly not well of the mind on this part. This is rationalizing. Trying to find a answer when there is no inherent reason, and his went off the deep end.

3. Actually pretty normal situation. When your mind isn't fully developed (he was a kid lol) you are more susceptible to abuse which includes online mudslinging. Leffen went out of his way to constantly mock and mention Hax.

4. Same as 1 / 2.

5. I saw that angle as different. Leffen wanted his arduino so he could use it to shit on him, most likely was a 'back off' kinda deal. A pathetic plea to get Leffen to stop. (Note he's not well)

This isn't a complicated thing to read. This is a hardcore dork doing what is more than likely the same thing he always does when he wants a change to Melee. He sees a problem, breaks it down to the minutia and presents this case why it absolutely must be changed or the universe will end along with Melee. The difference is instead of something like ledge grab he decided to talk about a person, and in true autistic fashion he doesn't see a reason to act any different when talking about a person. The result is that he sounds absolutely ridiculous even though he did make a strong case for the point he was trying to make by the end of it.

Leffen also claimed he was "hit 8 times and no one did anything to help me" in his #MeToo video. Then you find out that he was slapped two times, and the reason for that is he kept ramming his chair into someone's knees and generally being a little shit.

It's clear Leffen is just as crazy as Hax.

Easy misconception, but actually being a mentally ill paranoid schizophrenic you are more susceptible to abuse. In this situation Hax was the one who slung the first mud. Leffan told him that his meta theory was shit and Hax called him a future serial killer, a bitch, insulted his non-existent girlfriend, and demanded he never use his name again.

Oh wow this has been a trip. I had no idea who any of these fucking people were till I watched through that video and my god this has been entertaining. So far, I'm thinking that hax releasing this thing is probably going to do him more harm than good. The first like hour and a half of this is like listening to the ramblings of a madman. There is no way that leffen is this subtle in his shit with hax. He straight up goes on about how he's still big mad about a bunch of shit leffen said 10 years ago when he was 15. The last couple of chapters where he bitches about leffen running a tournament on the same day as him and just kind of being a general cunt are relatively fine, but it's all the autism that comes before it and that keeps getting brought up during it that completely invalidates his points.

Like, my takeaways for this have been:
- Hax is an unhinged turbo autist who takes the internet way too fucking seriously and should be on meds.
- Leffen is a giant walking vagina that can't handle banter, does petty shit to fuck with autists and says mean things on the internet.

If I were to bet on what happens next, I'd say that hax is going to see the worst of the pushback here. This video is mostly really petty and the fact that he's putting so much emphasis on completely ridiculous shit like leffen wearing an orange shirt once, declaring that blocking people on twitter should be illegal, and comparing himself and leffen to anime characters just shows us what kind of turbo autist he is. Like even though leffen is absolutely a shitty person, the parts discussing it are completely overshadowed by the 1.5 hours of hax telling us about that time leffen ate pancakes on twitter and why that caused him years of trauma.

Side note, how many leffenisms do you think I'd have to commit before hax decides to make a 2.5 hour sperg out video about me?
