The only real hope anyone has at properly taking on Leffen is _Technicals since he's the only person who's not afraid of pissing every one in the Smash Bros community circlejerk off by saying things they don't want to hear.

Leffen still is a relatively golden cow because of his skill as well as his popularity.
 
There's really nothing that pisses me off more than when someone does some very basic, surface-level research on complex psychological concepts and then throws the terms around like they're an expert. Get fucking real.
 
Damn, Zer0 and Vanessa seemed really good together. It seemed like she was always there to support him and stuff. Seeing her become just another e-thot showing her body to retards online makes me relatively sad. Guess I'm a retard too, since I care about these people I've never met. Any leaks of her OnlyFans? So I can avoid them.
 
With all due respect (none) I'm baffled at the lack of self-awareness it takes to describe in your own video how you jumped up and yelled at a random internet person over a game controller, chased them down the hall screaming at them until they had to run to get away from you and then claim, with a straight face, that you've never harassed anyone or crossed any boundaries. Shit like that and him grabbing and shaking his engineer because he gave the wrong guy a controller, it just shows he's acting really inappropriately and doesn't see how other people would view his actions.

and that really scares me, because I've seen actual stalkers do the same thing. They'll break into people's houses or hide in their bushes or corner them in a public place and then act flabbergasted when the people they're stalking react badly, They never seem to understand or acknowledge simple things like boundaries, personal space, appropriate and inappropriate interactions, and that leads to a lot of bad situations.

Unlike Hax, though, I'm not going to pretend I know more than a layman about psychology and I'm not going to give him a pseudo-diagnosis or act like my pseudo-diagnosis is a verified fact. I can only speculate about what might be happening.
 
I genuinely wonder if Sakurai even knows what the fuck revolves around the smash community. If he doesn't I would fucking love it if he gave his opinion about the entirety of it all. Make a live interview no less. I can picture his face changing visible with disgust as someone explains piece by piece everything that goes on. What would it even take have something like this happen?

I think the objective diagnosis is that playing a children's party game for so long degraded and mangled his brain into a bigger heap of useless mass than what was done to his now fucked cripple hands.
 
I mean, the video is pretty fucking entertaining and it just shows how dysfunctional this side of FGC is. Imagine if this turbo nerd and douchy eceleb were actually nice to each other and enjoyed playing dumb Nintendo games or something. No wonder they want to phase out Melee (or already fucking have I don't pay attention) with shit like this.

Very basic fifth grade problem solving skills could fix this whole situation overnight. "You leave me alone, I'll leave you alone." Instead, both parties escalate the situation at every turn. Neither party takes ownership for any wrongdoing, but one person has a clearly much more delusional view of the situation.

I guess Leffen must have been trolling these spergs pretty hard on their smash forum, but the contrast between how the testimonials describe him and the actual specific examples of harassment they give is hilarious.

Smash is apparently full of the kind of autists with egos and worldviews so fragile any low-effort trolling sends them into hysterics. A wholly unique species of sperg created by marrying fighting game community autism with Nintendo fan autism, that was then raised partially by old technology autism out of necessity.

Most of Japan tends to live in a bubble, pretty isolated to the outside western world (this goes back hundreds of years as well, it's kinda part of this isolationist identity and xenophobic trait of not really understanding much about gaijins, but that's another topic of discussion) whilst they do get their gist of western pop culture and entertainment from time to time, unless it's dubbed in Japanese, you would have to actively seek it out on non Japanese websites in order to know what's happening outside of Japan.

So basically not only would Sakurai not particularly know much about the scene that exists outside of Japan, he's rather oblivious to western perception entirely (even Japanese fans have said that he doesn't even pay particular attention to what fans wanted from Smash over there).

His engagements with the Smash community are few and far between, I think for his sake it's best he keeps it that way, he shouldn't have to fear what he's ended up indirectly created...

You know, when I saw a two-hour documentary on the Smash community with a huge PDF of evidence attached I assumed this would be about something very, very serious like those child predator allegations from a while back or someone was in an abusive relationship or something else of significant import. Then you watch it and the first twenty minutes are about rude forum posts and the next 40 minutes are people arguing about button placements on a game controller.

Where are the dads in this situation? Dad, get your damn kids and tell them to touch grass.
