I watched roughly 45 minutes of this video. Now I feel like I'm Neo (from the Matrix) during that tedious, drawn-out moment of real-life bullet time where a bald kid with leukaemia, who is dressed like the Dalai Lama, informs him that there is no spoon while showing him a fucking spoon. I am bored, I don't know what the hell is going on, and something has shifted inside my skull, in a way that makes me think that I might have taken my first giant leap onto the shifting sands of dementia.
What I do know is that Roko's Basilisk is real and has taken the form of a malevolent entity known as Leffen (his real name is unfathomable to our crude organic language processors). Where I have prospered in life it is because Leffen has willed it. Where I have failed, or gone without, it is because I am being punished, either for some past sin, or for a transgression that Leffen has calculated I will commit in a possible future within a distant parallel universe. His corrective hand hovers in the air above us all, like a self-identified attack helicopter, ever vigilant; ever ready to deliver the mother of all bitch slaps.
Leffen is the reason why their were no bananas at the supermarket on Thursday morning, and why the shelf stackers on duty did not appear to know where and when the bananas would respawn, or even what a banana was. How else can one explain this collective amnesia without recourse to the existence of the one called Leffen - the being who is said to have reconfigured the gamepad of our universe. It is all so obvious now. That time in the scouts when we pitched our tents in the dark, in what turned out to be a depression that flooded during the night, was a shot across the bows from Leffen, warning us not to camp.
As I write this I feel the disapproval of Leffen slowly crystallising in this simulation that I call my home. It is my fate to be trapped eternally within the hardening amber of his unfathomable C++++++ coding. Know that I am laying down my very existence for a cause that I do not understand, on the say-so of some laser-focused YouTube sperg, who I have never heard of.
