Imagine how low-IQ someone has to be to believe leaks in Current Year.

Now imagine how much of a brainlet a person has to be to believe a leak that includes everything everyone wants, including unlikely character picks and character picks that might not even be possible due to licensing issues.

Now imagine the level of exceptionalism required to think a leak that contains all of that and the fucking Grinch is real because a "reputable leaker" spread it, despite that leaker getting things wrong pretty much every time they try.

This is why you say every leak is wrong.

If you're right, people hail you as the big-brained prophet of truth.

If you're wrong, oopsies, now the cool thing that everyone wanted to be true is true, and you are just pleasantly surprised.

But most important, you don't get absolutely destroyed by the sheer force of disappointment you'll feel when it's proven wrong.

Only just a little bit of disappointment because it's just a dumb plant, but not enough that you can't see the outrageous humor of the whole situation.

I for one am happy that the leaks were BTFO'ed and the salt flowing from Piranha Plant is delicious.

Well, not just DLC. DLC with every previous character in the game, with all the popular picks like Ridley and K. Rool already in the game.

Assuming they're not all piranha plants, it's going to be some pretty choice picks. Which they'll have to be if they're asking for $30 for 'em.

Holy shit, that reminds me—as much as I hate to drag politics into this discussion, someone ought to make an "In the Hall of the Mountain King" music video involving the Grinch leak shitshow in the style of all those "Trump will never win" compilations that came out after election night.
