The Grinch Leak is out. Regardless of whenever or not you think it is real, one thing is for certain is that it has caused a shitload of drama. A lot of this drama actually has to do with gaming insiders who were likely told that Incineroar and Ken were the last two characters. They react as gracefully as you may expect, comparing people who criticize them for being smug jerks about the leak potentially being right to the alt-right.

This Grinch leak thing is probably the best and most autistic feud inside a fandom since alot and no matter how it ends,we will enjoy a good salt harvest

People thought Bandana Dee and Hat Goomba was dumb, now they don't even have a Hat Goomba. It's just a Goomba. It's just a piranha plant.

I hate it, but I love it. What a world we live in.
 
People getting mad at the lack of fighters only have themselves to blame. Sakurai made it pretty fucking clear that there weren't going to be many new fighters because he specifically focused on making sure everyone else came back.

At least with the DLC, we have something completely unknown to look forward to. Literally anybody could make it at this point and that's a helluva lot better than them introducing a bunch of Echo Fighters.

Well, technically PP himself (heh, PP) isn't part of the season pass. You can get him for free if you purchase the game early enough, or you can get him later as paid DLC.
