The small missions where you dont have it, used to give me this impression.

I could agree to that if the Yoshi missions didn't exist. Those are some of the worst missions and gameplay changes in Sunshine.

Those missions were by far the best part of the game, really, Sunshine has very responsive controls and a prefect camera system and those platforming challenges take full advantage of them, i wish there were more of those levels

Which 3D Mario game did you grow up playing the most? For me it was Sunshine but I've never beaten the game. I get so far and then get sick of all the BS missions and stop playing after about three hours.

I love sunshine it was so unique. The controls and level design were also pretty tight. I also really liked the weird enemies

I think everyone worthy of a spinoff already has at least one game

Luigi has the Luigi's Mansion Series and Super Luigi U

Wario has Wario Land and Wario Ware, i just wish Nintendo would make another Wario Land, it's been like 10 years since Wario Land Shake It!

Toad has Captain Toad on 3DS, WiiU and Switch

Yoshi has Yoshi's Island and all it's sequels

Peach has Super Princess Peach on the DS, never played it, but i heard it's a pretty good game

Bowser the closest thing he has is Bowser's Inside Story, but i guess most people would say it's more of a Bowser game rather than a Mario & Luigi game

I'm... truly tempted to say Waluigi deserves his own game, but, it would be easier to just make him a playable character alongside Wario in a RPG of Platformer



Seriously, what's stopping Nintendo from making a Mario & Luigi game with Wario and Waligi as playable characters? i'm pretty sure i'm not only one who would play that game

I didn't play the 3D Mario games until I was in my teens. Don't know why, it just sorta happened. I have a soft spot for 64 but Galaxy 1 is one of the best Mario games out there.

That said, 3D Land and 3D World were basically the 3D Mario games I've always wanted. When I was a kid and still played the 2D games, I always wanted to play a Mario game in 3D that had the same structure. So playing them is like a dream come true for me.

I got my nephews a switch with Mario Odyssey but I'll be damned if I couldn't stop myself from playing the shit out of it. I'm sad I never got around to playing the original Paper Mario games and the first won't even emulate properly for me. Sucks.
