Edit: So I went to the GFM, it is Mel. For as childlike as her writing it, it's still better than Tarl's (she doesn't talk about shoving anything up Borange's ass at least). I can empathize, because no one wants to die, even animals, but part of being a responsible pet owner is when the time comes putting their peace above your emotional attachment. With terminal illness there comes a time when you are just making them suffer because it would hurt you too be without them. I sincerely hope Borange is sleeping in that big ole cat tree in the sky. Also if you don't have land to bury them, have them cremated, put them in a nice little urn, and you can visit them whenever it suits your fancy.

When our cat was on his way out and they were proposing this test and that test and Xray and scans and blood draws and they started throwing out numbers like around $10k. I said lady, I don't even spend that on my kids. The cat is 16. Give me his painkillers and I'll let God sort out the rest.
