One of the biggest reasons is that the forum gets accused of organized "hate campaigns" all the time. It causes a shit ton of problems when someone can screen cap a post encouraging people to go off site and fuck with somebody, hence the red box left by the admins. It's the kind of thing Tarl would screencap and go, "See. They're trying to ruin my business. They're like democrat tyrants please give me money and ignore people calling me a retard fucker my loyal paypigs."
We do that because cows frequently lie about this stuff to portray themselves as better than they really are, for instance, claiming to have a 6 figure income while living in their parents' dilapidated dirt floor shack. Studying a person's environs gives one a lot of additional data about why they act the way they do.
He has to if he wants to make any money. Most of his videos are topical and probably don't generate too many views after a news cycle. Quartering likely gave him a very slow and boring COFFEE BRAND COFFEE lecture, and convinced Styx to stream again.

Besides adding fuel to the fire "those Kiwi Farmers love to ruin people's lives" reputational points used by non users who have only heard "horror stories" about this place, it also mirrors the bad behavior Styx has done in the past so disliked by users of this thread. I know you are aware of Tarl's habit of purposefully creating a hornet's nest, encouraging his clankers to go in mass to perform some miscreant misdeed somewhere, while he in his ani-social glee stands back and proclaims how "hilarious" it all is. Perhaps the most famous recent example is how his clankers went in mass to Pixel Planet to completely destroy it. So yeah, no need to behave as Styx. BTW Bobby, I really enjoyed the time stamping you used to do on Styx's livestreams.
