What's messed up is that there are no good outcomes out of this: Either this guy gives the money to him and he just spends it on booze, weed or a combination of both, or he just keeps the money to himself. Alternatively, he could give it to his parents for them to handle? But even then, it won't be good. I don't get how people still support a drunken abuser who is probably gonna spend a long time in jail. Specially with money, which definitely backfires

No, Tarl is about as out-of-control a drinker as they get, short of varices and tumblers of vodka for breakfast, lunch, and supper. He's got the sickly, bloated appearance of a chronic drinker and honestly, Nikki's report that he goes outside and vomits every morning seems particularly grim to me. I would not want to enable more dissipation. Transparency from Anton is probably in order if he wants people to fork over, however that might be done.

Truth. I was pretty into the sauce for a while - not cold turkey now, but maybe 5 drinks a week and will take weeks off. Usually a Friday thing. but it was 3-4 days a week and raised four children, didnt get divorced and Ive always had a job since I was 12 (paperboy) and landed in tech in 1998 in NYC and big tech a while later. Like I've had a lot to drink before cutting down and was totally functional. Im sure my kids will rib me for some of that time spent a little too sloshy. Anyways, I dont get how someone can get this dedicated to be a lush drunk fuck, like its not even fun to be a day drinker. When I day drank at lunch a few times at work with the boys in the SillyCon Valley days, you cant get any work done after that. We used to go down to St Johns in Sunnyvale and get on the keg of Pliny the Elder that came in once a week - usually could get 2 or 3 in before they kicked it like an hour later. But that usually lead to a lazy afternoon and then an early start on a wet dinner.
But doing the Leaving Las Vegas tier shit, I dont get it. Like why not pick another poison, like heavy weed. I've seen guys so this thing where they get on X/MDMA and like to do the sex crap (chicks always seem to be crazy and/or not that good looking though), that seems more intelligent than being so blasted you have perpetual whiskey dick. Booze is a social lubricant, use sparingly, get a little liquid courage to help land a fish boat into tuna town.
Its like booze addiction is really for the laziest tier of thrill seeker.
