What exactly do you and your children sleep with at night? Stuffed animals and blankets made in India, China, Pakistan? Taiwan, perhaps? Good thing I'm brushing back up on my Japanese. I have many skills; figuring out how to utilize them to succeed is where I struggle, because I want everything I do to matter to people. Hence why Tarl is rambling about love burning a person up. I have loved Japan since I was a small child. Everything about their culture I admire and love. Their values are where my heart lies, both the light and dark aspects. They fight for everything with all their heart, mind, and soul. The history of America's relationship with Japan politically was very painful when I learned about it, and I dont know everything but am willing to learn.

I don't know why I'm doing this, because you're just going to make excuses about whatever next. I spent 5 min looking up online consignment services for quilts, there's several but the top result was:
quilt consignment
They charge 30% for listing

Another one that stood out to me was:
Boston Consignment
That's not even that far, I didn't look into what they charge for consignment because I know you won't do anything

As I said last night I found at least a dozen listings for work from home seamstress work in New England where they send you the material and pattern, and you do the sewing then send it back to them. I won't be linking those because why waste my time if you won't follow thru.

Why are you wasting time with quilts? Anyone with actual sowing skills becomes a seemstress or a taylor. Can you not do alterations? Do you not know how to cut cloth? Do you not know how to measure, hem and stitch? Use your head for something other than Tarl sperm depository.

I lived in Japan for six months - quite liked it, miss it for sure.. Seeing all the shit you do and pull here and in life - I dont think the Japanese would like dealing with a person like you - messy and bad with money and all over the place. Japanese are big on social harmony, cohesion in society and build by consensus. Like the opposite of a bull in a china shop.

I used to stich clews, heads and tacks (corners) on large mainsails made of Kevlar with sewing machines that could stich a human finger or hand right into the sail if one wasnt careful. Really cool laser cutting of the sails as well. One guy who was drunk, Will, he stitched right though his finger bone after a liquid lunch and called all the people in the loft over to check it out.

Custom made quilt. Ummm. No. They make em in China using sewing machines, so not much difference there. Also costs a fractyion of what you charge.

You should have become a tailor, ora seamstress. There's an actual a demand for people who can do quality work in this regard. But for hand made quilts?

Unless you speak it fluently there's not much demand for people who speak Japanese, and to teach it as anything other than a tutor you'd need a degree in it. I suppose you could teach it as a foreign language in certain other countries where you'd only need a degree, period, but that also requires talent in teaching, which you don't likely possess.
