It took the combined efforts of Voodooists, Hoodooists, Sexual Tantrists, Black Hebrew Kaballah, Caucasian ballonomancy, and gay nigger pyrotechnics to break through his goon shield. Were it not for the unusually high levels of autism/schizophrenia chaos magikians on the kiwi farms it would have worked.

His mistake was choosing a warlock patron who was easily distracted by our balloon art of various death fats.

On sentencing, I predict time served plus probation.
* Styx is a first time offender.
* Styx doesn't live in New Orleans so he isn't New Orleans's ongoing problem.
* I don't know how long probation will be, but it clearly doesn't matter. Styx has been able to booze it up on a regular basis without getting caught while awaiting trial. I don't see that changing.
* Styx has already done all of the good boy anger management and domestic violence classes.
* I think the prosecutors just wanted to get a conviction nailed on Styx so that if he gets popped for Domestic Violence again, it will be taken more seriously.

I don't know that Styx deserved to get nailed for this specific issue of nailing his girlfriend with her cellphone. But he has done far worse with this threats of going all stabby-stabby on them and pointing guns at his hook ups. This has to stop, wizard of hell or not.

If Samantha wanted to do Styx a real solid that he would hate, in her victim's impact she should tell the judge about Styx's long standing substance abuse issues with alcohol. And that people don't believe that Styx has been able to maintain sobriety while out on bail, so the system was not working. The only thing that will solve this problem is addressing Styx's substance abuse issues head on.

As a side note, Gary from Nerdorotic stated that the thing that got him to change was that his life finally got bad enough that he got sick of the consequences of his drug use. And keep in mind, sleeping under a bush in front of a restaurant wasn't bad enough for Gary. I think his time in prison was what finally buck broke him. Styx and Nick Rekieta are both a long way off from hitting their rock bottom.

I used to listen to him many years ago (2017 maybe) like something in the background, he was talking also about old occult books and I found the topic interesting. But since a few years it's not that interesting anymore, quality is really down and I finally unfollowed him. Sad to see him falling into the lolcow realm.

Notice that in his explanatory video, absolutely everything is not really his fault. He was drunk, the phone bounced, she was untrue, the legal eagles did not prove the absence of mens rea. Except maybe he admits that he picked the wrong person to "date." He is so up his own arsehole so fast he might possibly cross his own event horizon and achieve singularity.

If I was Samantha, I would hand this message along with Styx's video "explaining" what he is telling his audience happened to the prosecutor.

Styx is NOT taking accountability publicly. Styx thinks this whole thing is a joke and cool like being a pirate.

I am not saying that Styx needs more jail time. But he does need a hard ass probationary officer dogging him on his alcohol consumption and a requirement to to join AA.

Hell, she can even include it in her victim's impact statement.

Looks like he won’t be exercising his Second Amendment rights anytime soon. Under the Lautenberg Amendment (18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(9)), enacted in 1996, anyone convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence—federal or state—can’t possess firearms or ammunition that have moved in interstate commerce, for life. That rules out his Glock 42. He might want to grab a good cutlass, or a blunderbuss, though, since antique firearms (like flintlocks or muzzleloaders using loose black powder, per 18 U.S.C. § 921(a)(16)) are exempt. State laws could still restrict these, so he should check local rules.
