Cobra's powers work because he uses them for good (circle of protection, streetlight changing). Tarl's magick might've worked, but it clearly backfired, and that's why he got arrested.

I don't follow Styx too cloesly but if he's relating everything he sees and reads about to his own magic then that's a bit beyond normal retardation. His grip on reality is pretty loose if he thinks events are tied to his personal choices and magic

That's funny, I've only ever watched Styx's occult stuff from time to time for amusement. I didn't realize anyone took him seriously as a political commentator. I had lost track of him for a minute and then next thing I knew he was getting features on the farms this past year.

Well this is one hell of a way to learn that someone I used to watch is on Chris-chan levels of delusion by thinking that they have mystical powers.
