I get that it was a Pascal's wager situation, but it was sincere. Its like. 'Hey, if you are real, I accept your free gift as my personal Lord and Savior, and look forward to meeting you and spending time with you in eternity.'
Scotts acceptance wasn't sarcastic. It its a man who accepted his mortal coil was about to expire. Not fun, certainly not funny as Tard wants us to think he thinks it is.


His closing was pretty good too, hardly a guy thinking his impending death was funny. He was being accepting of reality and reflective. Not laughing about it. It was sober and sobering to read. Tard should get familiar with that word.

Scott also valued FAMILY and he was a step-PARENT, and I think he tried his best to be that step parent and treat the kids right even though they werent his own genetic progeny. I think his stepson died of a drug overdose as well and struggled with that.

For the first part of my life, I was focused on making myself a worthy husband and parent, as a way to find meaning. That worked. But marriages don’t always last forever, and mine eventually ended, in a highly amicable way. I’m grateful for those years and for the people I came to call my family.

Tard is a total fuckup. An avoidant in a cage of his own making. A liar. A histrionic asshole with the worst part of the female brain melted into his brain, but none of the good parts. A shitty partner. A shitty parent. Tard abuses himself, abuses his lovers and partners, and abuses his daughter by not being there. Scott would shame Tard for how he conducting himself.

There is a saying that goes around in Christian circles that goes something like this, you might miss heaven not because of your brain but because of your heart.

You might miss heaven by 12 inches - the distance from your head to your heart.

Death is a uniquely personal experience and I will not reference the cock sucking albino Somali pirate. But in Scott Adam's case I think laughter becomes an internal and external coping mechanism or at least that's how I felt for Me when my clock was nearly punched.

It can ease tension and allow for communication in a tough time. Religion plays no factor i am solid in my faith and I know I can get that close again to the edge. I'll do it with a smile on my face and laugh from the mouth because I made peace and im sure Scott did.
