He didn't drown, he "fell" (being pushed is whats being debated) into a CREEK, not a river. The toddler is taller than the water was, but the current was very fast. Nobody was harmed in this scenario, just cold wet and startled and me? I was pissed. Thoroughly pissed. That day was when any shreds of delusional trust I may have had for this pirate were burned away, and rightfully so. I pray for Liz and her child more often than I would like to admit.

What is it with your obsession over this? I was responding to another poster who said muriatic acid was useful in repairing cement work. There has never been a pool here, not even the inflatable kind.

So the mother's claim is the pirate she was fucking pushed her child into a river, intentionally or unintentionally, and she is the one to pull the child from the river.

And this was in response to the pirate she was fucking claiming the child fell into the river on their own and he pulled the child from the river. With the reasoning being given as he had looked away from the child near the river as to not be creepy while watching another child get their coat put on...

Sam was attending one of the children while trusting you(as stupid as that was) to attend the other, you failed the child and Samantha that day. You absolutely did everything wrong here.

Believe it or not accidents can happen, Dylan. What matters is no njury or death occurred. I never pushed anyone into a river.

The water was very rapid due to recent rain and my assumption is he accidentally put a foot in and it dragged him. The second I saw him in there I waded in and grabbed him out. The only important thing is he is ok.

Dont forget about the time I asked you not to do an underdog with our 3 year old daughter and she fell backwards onto her neck and you didnt take her to the hospital afterwards, but you did take the second head injury more seriously. There is grace to be given all around, yes? Shit happens.

Not to powerlevel, but after working full time and running a business on the side to make sure my household is a home for my (currently) at home wife and child.

Reading threads like these is a downtime entertainer for me when i finally a rest or get sat down after 9pm after reading to my girl, putting her to bed and finishing work on an evening- I’m sure many more parents on here are in the same boat!

Unfortunately everyone is going to need a “side hustle” in the next 5-10 years as everything continues to become shite

This one was extremely avoidable. You acknowledged you were intelligent and aware enough to know the environment in itself was dangerous, high fast moving water, recent rain, etc. Usually a person that is watching a child or helping someone watch children should also be intelligent enough not to let the kids far enough out of sight or reach in dangerous areas. The important thing should have been everyone stayed completely safe with no threat of dying from drowning, Just because he survived doesn't make this okay. You are taking away the wrong lessons.

Please keep talking you are really helping yourself get out of this one.
