Also I was going to say something about how non-parents don't understand how fast little kids can move and how quickly they can get into trouble in just a split-second of adult distraction, but then I realized it would just be defending Samantha and Tarl, so I deleted the whole post because fuck those guys.

Naw, you're right to tell people that normality exists, just not in this space with these people. Every parent goes through the horror and guilt of 'but I only looked away for a second', but Tarl and these women are in the camp of 'I only looked away for 3 days and I gave them plenty of beer to stay hydrated so its obviously their fault'.
