Have you considered the arcane arts? The white council doesn't pay well but you get a room, food, and after 100 years your own tower!

I guess those jobs where you draw those furry porn fetishes like tentacles and feet or whatever. And by extension, the entirety of the wattpad romance genre and smooching with the monster boy of the week.

I've done fast food, retail, gas station, janitor, animal care, and airport logistics (loading freight planes). I got a good gig because I applied for a forklift position, which I did know how to drive from the airport job. You should look into production assistants or packaging or warehouse help. My current job is a little weird: I take steel coil, roll it out, and cut it at custom lengths. If you get in under production stuff the possibilities are legit there for you.

Writing books with titles like "I was raped in the butt by my own reaction to the title of the book "I was raped in the butt by my butt"

But yeah apparently there's some Amazon dime novel millionaire who made her riches entirely by writing dinosaur erotica

Had a gig working for the World Anti-doping Agency as a Doping Control officer.
Basically in a sports event that requires it I am given an athlete as my target, after the athlete is done with their competition I introduce myself and collect their urine sample.
If the athlete can’t urinate I have to be with them at all times and there are protocols as to preserve their privacy and to prevent suspicions of any tampering from any parties. Common example is if the athlete wants a drink, they aren’t allowed to drink from their own bottle or anyone else but instead non-tampered water bottles provided to all the athletes and their teams.
When it is time to collect their samples I have to accompany the athlete as they are filling the sample jar and I have to have a clear vision of their junk and the jar, obviously both the officer and athlete have to be the same gender and in the case of troons I have no fucking clue as I did this before they got into sports.
After the sample is collected it has to be sorted in a sample kit and again to avoid suspicions of tampering there is a process the athlete has to follow so it can be properly sorted and packaged for testing with minimal intervention on our side.

Besides having to watch someone piss in a jar and pray that they don’t make it weird the gig honestly paid better per event than what I made in a month during college, and I get to meet both athletes and para-athletes in different sports and countries.
Not to mention the barrier to entry is just memorizing 20-30 pages of protocol and doing a test so anyone can do it but if you’re a woman just have SUPER low expectations to what your getting as there are far less womens athlete event compared to mens.

And yes WADA is fucking gay, literally the TSA equivalent in athletic events.

I know a mushroom consultant, it's not a full-time job tho, it's only mon-tue and also the main requirement is a genuine, if not outright autistic interest in mushrooms confirmed by some official certificate.
It's provided by the city. People come and show what they found, and are advised about it. Sometimes even the police comes for consultations.

I don't think I've ever met an unhappy custodian/janitor/facilities manager.
Job isn't bad. At my toilet wiper job, pay is above working most retail jobs and you have the benefits of set schedules + not having to deal with the general population. Benefits aren't bad if you take advantage of them(raises my hourly rate considerably). Not a career job but you won't regret doing a brief stint.

Did any athletes try to sneak away during that time?

They do if the officer gets careless and I have seen it happen. For the first miss nothing happens to the athlete but if missed 3 times they get penalized and are banned for upto 2 years from competing in any WADA events.

However not as common as starting arguments and chimping out, and they always back off knowing if they go too far they get a lifetime ban.
