Disaster Stop Blaming White People Month

A sign declaring March to be “Stop Blaming White People Month!” has caused a fury in a New Jersey community -- and prompted an investigation to find out who posted it.

In its entirety, the bright yellow and orange sign read, “MARCH is national Stop Blaming White People Month! Accept responsibility for your own bad choices. Hug a white person!”

The town's population of about 4,500 people is about 78 percent white, according to U.S. Census figures.

Greg Kliemisch, a USPS postal inspector, told NJ.com that the sign was discovered Thursday by postal employees, and was immediately removed.

Posting signs of any kind -- controversial or not -- at the post office is “strict
ly prohibited,” Kliemisch said.

The sign drew the ire of Flemington Councilwoman Betsy Driver, who criticized it on the public “Flemington Forward” Facebook group.

“Racism in our town exists, and the racists have been emboldened in the past year to fly their hateful flags a bit higher and yell a bit louder,” Driver wrote.

NJ.com reported she also said racism is not a laughing matter.

"The fact that somebody even put the sign up is just sad and not a reflection of our town," Driver said.

"Racism is not a laughing matter."

Kliemisch said Friday the investigation was in the early stages. It was not immediately clear what potential consequences the sign hanger might face if caught.

So many issues could be solved if blacks actually made a real effort to fix their own communities. Instead, there's too much focus on blaming wypipo for everything under the sun. Your men and boys are killing each other and leaving babies without fathers. Fix your communities. That's not racism. That's reality.

They can't do much about the sign. Even if they saw who posted it they also have to identify them. Someone posting a sign in Jersey in March is likely bundled up and thus not easily identified. Are they gonna search house to house for the offending racist? Hell no. I doubt anyone will be fined.

The fact that Flemington is 78% white is what prevents the town from being destroyed over a sign. Try pulling this in Camden. It will be a smoking crater within hours.

I can understand a lot more sympathy for intersex people in general because it has an actual medical definition that exists outside the realm of tumblr. There are occasional exceptional individuals who "identify" as intersex, but what they're saying is verifiably false and there's just no arguing about it.

That doesn't mean an intersex person can't be a drama queen, but there's no reason to disagree with a person over intersexuality. That's like disagreeing with someone being blind, or a paraplegic.

I guarantee on Tumblr most intersex people are as self diagnosed as the autism they claim to have. If anything that actually damages the progress of actual intersex individuals. I don't know how virtue signally Betsy Driver is based on her concerns for the intersexed. Especially if she is legit one of them. But I'd hate to see this balloon into a firestorm when it's not even a racist statement. But now that it's out there in the news and on the internet watch someone start copying it. All it needs to do is turn up at a college and salt will flow.
