This guy really is SEO obsessed. All these sites are different in some way, he's trying to flood Google results for himself out of sheer volume.

His listing of domains on the site is an attempt to hijack or SEO to promote his threads. Even though Google won't index those pages, they will generate positive SEO flow for those domains because we still get Googlebots crawling the site.

Of course you realize, this means war.

Considering the dude only has the one post, that's plausible since he bumped a 3 year old thread about a guy people barely remember to post that. No reason, no explanation for the dirt, no new drama.

That has got to be the dumbest act of poking a hornets nest I have ever heard of. Motherfucker thinks he's in Oceans Eleven or some shit. Sets up a 4-D chess move and then trips on his own shoelaces.

Its fitting that he owns some shitty game for children and hangs out with children(trying to prey on them) because he seems like he would be immature enough to do that thing where he pretends he's gonna kill himself and then comes back with a sock and talks about how mean you were and he really did it and you should feel bad--but it's so blatantly transparent and nobody buys it.

Stephane is linked to Mark Karpeles and MtGox. MtGox was one of the first bitcoin exchanges and they got hacked and everything involved with them is super mega turbo autistic. From what's written its alleged that Stephane tried to sue Mark Karpeles and Mark quit. There are links between their companies and the relationship isn't clear but 100% involves autism.

Breakdown of court case (translated from French):
The facts go back to 2005. Mark Karpelès - who calls himself by his middle name, Robert - then works at Linux Cyberjoueur, a small online game publisher based in Paris. He was hired in October 2003, "as a computer technician, responsible for carrying out programs, technical administration of equipment and networks," says the judgment.

In mid-2005, while Mark Karpelès returns from a stay in Japan, the relations with his employer deteriorate brutally. He no longer shows up at his place of work as of June 30th. Five days later, Stéphane Portha, manager of Linux Cyberjoueur, notes that customer data is transferred to other servers, outside the company, located in France and the United States. Similarly, a domain name of the company is redirected to another address, owned by Mark Karpelès. On July 6, he resigned.

A few months later, Stéphane Portha receives a call, mentioned in the judgment: Mr. Karpelès offers to buy him his domain name, at the price of 2,000 euros. On October 19, the former employer defers to justice, he files a complaint for "fraudulent access to a computer server, data changes on this server and trademark infringement". In front of the police, Mark Karpelès recognizes the piracy, but on his blog, he tells a very different version, evokes his depressive state of the time and his differences of view with his employer on the management of these sites.

Five years later, he is absent at the hearing, when the court sentences him. "

There was indeed a suit, not over Mt. Gox, but over a dispute circa 2004 when Mark was in Stephane's employ at Eurocenter. I did some digging and found an archived /biz/ thread that had a ton of dirt from someone with an axe to grind (totally not Mark Karpeles). These docs need translating.

Disputes over domain names and companies including nezumi.fr and ff.st . Stephane claims Mark spends too much time on IRC and refuses to pay him. Mark gets mad and gives notice that he quits. Stephane claims mark never sent in the notice and starts attacking him with BS cases. Mark provides copies of documents with postage proving he did give notice. Stephane then blames Mark for leaking the Graal.net database without one shred of proof or evidence, proof then comes out that other people did it and his own lack of security is to blame. Stephane ridiculously claims that a picture of Mark with a Samurai sword is a threat against him. All B.S., all proven lies over a decade ago! Mark might be bad, but because of other issues and not this. A generalized summary, I don't speak or understand french very well.

The court sided with Stephane from what I see.

"In 2010, French National Mark Robert Karpeles was charged by French courts for fraudulent accessing and changing data in an automated processing system. The issue was raised by Karpeles’ former employer Stephane Portha, CEO of small French gaming studio Eurocenter. Portha accused him of stealing customers user names, passwords, and a domain name, along with other grievances. Karpeles was sentenced to one year in prison and fined the equivalent of $60,000 USD."

Some game dev made a game and discontinued it, dumped all his assets on the net and Stephane made a full game out of it.
The original game dev hired an attorney and met with Stephane to explain IP law and Stephane got really mad because his belief was that the game public domain IP.
