Who the hell uses controllers that way? Other than if its the main gimmick like the Wii and Switch. Seems especially pointless when it has 2 track pads built in also.

I spent $100 for a custom Xbox controller with engraving, it was only like $10 more expensive then the ugly white dorito enhanced controller. $150 for a steam controller is fuck all if it it's a solid option i can swap between my deck and pc.

I'm still waiting for the Frame. Controller seems nice but useless if you have a Steam Deck or play PC games with KBaM only.
Only actual use for it is using it with the Frame imo.

The only Valve hardware I’ve used is the Steam Deck, and it’s one of the most uncomfortable “controllers” I’ve ever used (almost everything else about it is great though). This controller somehow looks even more uncomfortable.

I don’t see how anyone but gorilla-handed men could use a left stick that far away from the handle. How are kids expected to use it? Do you hold it like an arcade stick? Do you claw-grip it?

its weirdly useful in shooters to where i had to make a hacky method to get something like that to work for shadow of the tomb raider because i play it with a controller on pc but that just isnt an option in the settings
