I’m getting tired of making fun of them, it is clearly not working
SAAR GROKLSS6 MAKE GRACE BIG BOB BOTIFUL WITH MAKEUP SAAR. YOU ARE BLOODY BENCHODE FAGIT FOR NOT LIKE GROKLSS6 SAAR FAK YOU BLOODY. NVIDIA MAKE BESTEST GPU WITH BEST FEATURE AND YOU ARE FAGIT FOR NOT LIKEING IT.

They honestly believed this shit looked good enough to make a normie giddy. Even at its "best" it fucks up shadows and make everything looks like those "HDR10" displays that cant actually display HDR so they fake it by over brightening everything.

me, buying a game from my Wishlist before going back to the same game I've been playing for the past week.

Me, buying triple AAA games that will surely test the might of my gaming PC (thankfully built before the AI driven great RAM shortage of 2025)
Also me, playing games old enough to drink

Me waiting until the Winter sale at the end of the year to buy games because I'm broke, and also because I have over 375 games in my backlog. I don't need any more games.

Steam: 👀
buy them from gg.deals instead. dont give steam money if you can avoid it.

Peglin, a niche little game I've been playing on-and-off since early access, recently released a 5 dollar DLC that is literally just a gold statue in the main menu, the logic being that they don't want to gate real content behind DLC, this instead effectively serves as a donation.

I admire the honesty, and it seems a good and virtuous move TBH, but the cognitive dissonance also presented by a DLC that gives you nothing but a fancy trinket made me hit myself in confusion at first.

New donation meta I guess?

Its something that has been around for a while.

Grim Dawn did the same with its Steam Loyalty Packs since 2016 that just offer cosmetics for items for a higher then normal price. ($8.99).

The battery on my LCD Steam Deck is at 59% health, last week I had a valve refurbished 512gb OLED in my cart but didn't pull the trigger waiting to see if a 1tb refurbished OLED or a new 512/1tb OLED would be restocked. It's been 8 days. I am upset.

I was waiting for Steam Deck 2 tbh, but I really can't live without my Deck which is lame but true. I have a few international flights coming up for work, and let me tell you Starsector, Songs of Syx, Caves of Qud, Grim Dawn/Titan Quest on the deck makes these flights bearable.

I know there's no way of knowing, but what is the sense of when these items will be restocked in the US?

Not really, cause even through OpenAI backed out on buying about 40% of upcoming RAM supply I think Valve really wants to get the Steam Machine out this year so that is probably going to have a higher focus.
