Well Voyager gains Seven of Nine, and the EMH gets a mobile emitter. Other than that...nope. It ends where it begins, lol. Brannon Braga did attempt to add more danger and drama with a season long arc (Year of Hell), but the executives shitcanned the idea pretty quickly (this kind of meddling didn't exist on TNG and DS9, that's what I meant). Much, much more happens on a heavily armed space station in Federation space , and more happens on the flagship that largely just patrols Federation territory. Think about that. Voyagers premise being thrown away by the second episode pretty much tells you all you need to know on it. It confuses me that it has its ardent defenders (for example, TheAmazingAtheist has literally screamed at people and blocked them when they say they don't like Voyager) given that it's practically the quintessential example of dry television.
As for Enterprise, the first two seasons are far worse (it features a dog being rubbed down by KY Jelly and the Captain condoning genocide, enough said), but it gets better in its third and fourth seasons. Nothing approaching TNG/DS9 levels of good though. Best just skip it and wait for Discovery.
Heh, I thought it was one of the most boring films I'd seen in a long time. FlareTrek is sub-standard.
What's everyone's favorite episodes in the franchise btw?

Aside from boring TV, I saw Star Trek Beyond and it was pretty fun. I kind of wish it cut down a little on the action and had more technobabble.
